february

winter here sucks ass. it doesn't even snow were it's supposed to or even when it's supposed to. needless to say that my new snowboard (that i bought on sale when craig was down) hasn't seen any use.
my bike however has seen a pretty good amount of use. i've ridden quite a few times (every week) with adam down at leeside, and i've even gotten to ride with rob a few times, and a few of the helldogs here and there.
the only highlight of january that i can think of was the division of laura lee/ burning brides show that i went to with my friend paul from work. both of these bands ended up putting on a way better show than i expected. the most interesting part was the fact that i had no idea that division of laura lee were playing, i had just gone to see burning brides (who by the way are pretty f'ing metal). if you ever get the chance to check out either band i highly recommend it, plus you have to see the gap in the teeth of the lead singer/guitarist of division of laura lee.
so far february isn't all that exciting. i have however learned a few new bmx tricks and finally cut my hair (it was getting pretty bad - as the pictures will show).
evil craig mcconnell showed up for a few days as well and so i (and lara) ended up going to the adventure show at gm place and later going for sushi. interesting side story (and yet still a related story): i ran into chris craig (geoff's brother for you chumps who don't know), on rollerblades no less, while waiting to meet craig. he looks very thin; we also exchanged a few awkward words and then he was off without leaving a phone number or anything. other than that, i really have had no interesting experiences as of late, tomorrow however i am installing a new bottom bracket in my bmx. now that's action.
