DT: Hello PAUL, how are you?.
S: Good how are you?

DT: When & why the band was formed? (current line - up).
S: I wanted to form an extreem Black Death band back in 87. so I contacte MIKE SMITH and talked about it. We spread the word around. before long we had a band. The current lineup is PAUL TUCKER on guitar and vocals, BILL DAVIDSON on bass,vocals,WAYNE DUDLEY on guitar, JIM STRAUSS (ex ACHERON) drummer.

DT: Your influences?.
S: Older bands like VENOM, CELTIC FROST, EXODUS, POSSESSED, BATHORY, SODOM.

DT: When did you start playing?.
S: Started when i was 13.but did'nt get serious till i was 18.

DT: What do you think about PIT BULL's fights?.
S: Never seen one. They don;t have them here. As far as I know.

DT: What can you talk me about the North American Underground Scene?.
S: It seems to be very big. There are so many bands I can't keep up with them.

DT: Are you into drugs?.
S: No. did some. mostly drink now.

DT: Are you into drugs?.
S: Don't follow any religion, but very interested in occult, demonology, withcraft etc.

DT: Your fave North American food?.
S: Steak salad

DT: Do you like soccer?.
S: Don't dislikt it. just never watch it.

DT: Do you think that wearing chains, blood, make-up and all that stuff is important for you image?.
S: It helps somewhat. but the music will speak for itself.

DT: What topics do you consider in your lyrics?.
S: Dark topics, satanism, occult, death, destruction, demons attacking priests!!

DT: You're fave beer?.
S: Favorite beer is YUENGLING.

DT: How is a gig with SATHANAS?.
S: Extreem BLACK DEATH METAL IN YOUR FACE!! with leather spikes and SATAN!!!

DT: What memories do you have about your "Ripping Evil" Demo - (1988)?.
S: Well we recorded it in 5 hours in a guys house. Happy with the product, only costed 80 dollars.

DT: What do you know about South American Underground Scene?.
S: Only that there are some sick crowds. heard when INCANTATION plays there its fucking vilolent.

DT: Your fave European bands?. 
S: EMPEROR, DISMEMBER, OCCULT, VADER, and many others.

DT: Your opinion about ANTON SZANDOR LA VEY and ALEISTER CROWLEY?.
S: ANTON developed his views on which we all live by in our daily lives. ALEISTER was beyond his time. writing books on occult, the cosmos, sexual energy to be used in the occult doctrine. unreal!!!

DT: What do you think about the Norwegian Black Metal scene?.
S: I like Norwegian Black Metal from the old days like MAYHEM. it seems these days if you wear corpse paint and spikes you are in the same realm as them. I don't think so!

DT: Do you like STAR WARS?.
S: Yes! Great movie, effects were killer for the time!!

DT: Your "Rehearsal 1993" is available now?.
S: I think I have one left.

DT: Do you prefer PC or Mac?.
S: I prefer PC. although I heard Mac is better.

DT: What do you think about the Art of H.R. GIGER?.
S: Awesome! I'm thinking of getting some tattoo artwork in that style. Fucking evil!!!

DT: Do you prefer GOTHENBURG or FLORIDA?.
S: Never been to either.

DT: Do you consider "Thy Dark Heavens" like your best piece?.
S: no. it was experimental. production is good,but was'nt raw enough. like our next releases!!

DT: Who designed the logo of SATHANAS?.
S: I designed the original. ALEX KURTAGIC designed the one for "armies…, "Black Earth" and "Thy Dark Heavens". Our next releases the logo will be designed by GUNTHER CRAS.

DT: Tell us about "Cruentus Diabolos" please.
S: Great release from Drakkar. raw,in your face. what we are known for!!!

DT: What can you talk me about your relation with ACHERON?.
S: Good friends with VINCENT CROWLEY. Just seen them live. Fucking awesome!!!!

DT: Which one do you consider the best Metal band from U.S.A.?.
S: SATHANAS!! No just fucking around. Too many to chose from!!! Metal is looking goood!!! and won't die!!!

DT: What can you tell me about your new MCD "Flesh for the Devil?".
S: The new MCD will make alot of SATHANAS fans excited. oldschool Black Death.Metal.the way it should be!

DT: Your future plans?.
S: Maybe records Split CD with ACHERON early 2005. Some touring!!!
