Interview for DEATHTHRASHER MAGAZINE by
ARMANDO MUTILATOR :
THANX FOR YOUR SUPPORT MAN. I hope we can get to know each other more. I hope that you heared anything from the demo. I'm intersted in your opinion and review.
your new friend.
Kamal.
here are my answers.
DT:
Hello Kamal, how are you?.
Kamal : Hello Armando, I'm ok thanks. You?
DT: When & why DEATHLESS ANGUISH was formed?.
Kamal : DEATHLESS ANGUISH was formed in early 2003 after I was a rhythm guitar with another local metal band called Wry Wreathe. We had some problems coz of the style and lack of money and support so we split up. So, since I'm into death metal, thrash and grind I'd liked to play something close to these stuff so this is why DEATHLESS ANGUISH is there now.
DT: How old are you?.
Kamal : I'm 22 years old
DT: Your influences?.
Kamal : Well a lot of bands and situations influence me. Musically I'm influenced by cannibal corpse, napalm death, Nile, sacred Reich, slayer... etc.
DT: Talk me about your friendship with REDOUANE AOUAMEUR.
Kamal : Well Redouane is the most supportive guy I have ever seen in my life and he works hard for better metal scene especially in mid-east. I wish him the best of luck. With guys like you and Redouane metal will be always alive.
DT: Who put the name of the band and why?.
Kamal : I picked up that name coz it really describes the situation in here. This is misery with no end. Being in stepped on position will never end. Being treated like slaves will never end. So it is deathless misery (deathless anguish)
DT: When did you start playing?.
Kamal : One and a half year ago I guess. I started so late I wasn't even interested in guitar I was doing the vocals for WRY WREATHE (local band) but coz we really needed rhythm guitarist we bought a guitar and I started learning our songs.
DT: Do you have problems with drugs?.
Kamal : Nope, I'm 100% clean hehehe.
DT: Do you eat cus cus?.
Kamal : No, what is that?
DT: KAMAL, what do you know about KAMAL of YERBATEROS?.
Kamal : Nothing really.
DT: Tell me about the Metal Scene in Saudi Arabia.
Kamal : Our Metal scene is so poor but most of guys in here who are really into metal would support each other, we don't have concerts or stuff like these we do underground gigs or let us say jams for like 10 people weekly and that is it. It sucks anyway.
DT: Your fave food from Saudi Arabia?.
Kamal : KABSAH ! hehe. You must try that sometime.
DT: Are you into soccer?.
Kamal : Yeah, kinda.
DT: Tell us about your "WORLD DOMINATION" (Demo 2003).
Kamal : Well world domination has 5 songs that sound not good. All the recording been done at home using PC software for recording.
Songs are:
. Sinner
. World Domination
. Revolutionary Carnage
. Sick soul
. Kingdom of Hypocrisy
Most of these songs talk about our miserable political situation that we suffer of in mid-east.

DT: Do you think that wearing chains, blood, make-up and all that stuff is important for you image?.
Kamal : No, image sucks, what matters is the music and how u play it.
DT: What do you know about South American Scene?.
Kamal : Well I like some bands from Brazil and Mexico. However, I'm sure that South American Metal scene rocks.
DT: What topics do you consider in your lyrics?.
Kamal : Mostly political situations.
DT: Your musical Productions?.
Kamal : I did it all.
DT: Who designed the DEATHLESS AGUISH logo?.
Kamal : That was designed by ALUZINE Metalzine from Mexico I thank him again for his support.
DT: Your future plans?.
Kamal : DEATHLESS ANGUISH is no more one man band. NASSER from WRY WREATHE is in the band now and we are working on new material. And going to release our upcoming album soon. He is a great addition to the band.
DT: Your last growl for DT. Readers….. Where can they find your stuff?.
Kamal : I'd like to say that thanks for support and this chance. I love your magazine. Keep up the excellent work.
