My little homestead
This is my little slice of heaven. It may not look like much to you, but I love it out here. Oh sure, I could do without the hard packed clay that passes for soil, and the 90 mph winds every spring, but you should see the sunset over the mountains!
Right now, our livestock consists of only 2 goats. We used to have chickens until a neighbor's dog broke into the coop. The survivors were quickly moved to a new home since we weren't sure how long it would take to get a fence up. Very soon we will also be adding a sheep. More chickens will probably come next year.
