Nils
Nils is a 5 year old boy.
Nils lives with is father Tom, mother Chris, and 9 year old sister Lynn in Antwerp (Belgium).
He spent a lot of time in hospital between his first and third birthday because of pneumonia, stomach problems - reflux - and blood poisening, but now he is coping very well.
At the moment he is 5 days a week in Kindergarden at the same school as his sister and he gets private extra education on saturday morning. He is a very happy young boy and he especially is very fond of his big sister who loves him also very much.
Olivia
Olivia is 4 years old.
Olivia is from Los Angeles, California.
She loves school... beanie baby bears, the park, and the beach to name a few.
She is a BIG talker and knows what she wants
Adam
Adam is 4 years old.
He is the youngest of 4 children and lives in a small community in Northern Ontario,Canada where Adam, as of now, is the only child with DS in the community. He is going to start pre-kindergarten next fall and loves daycare.
He also loves playing in the snow and sliding.
He is a very bright little boy and brings joy to whoever meets him. He has what we all call a contagious laugh.
Makenzie Carolyn
aka "Little Mak"
Makenzie is 13 months old.
She lives with her mom, Tina, Dad, Kevin, and sister, Giovanna (2� years old) in Ontario, Canada.
Makenzie had an AVSD repaired at 3 months and a g-tube placed at 6 months old. She also has hypothyroidism, exyma, and latex allergy.
Makenzie loves to take a bath! She gives the world's biggest hugs and wetest kisses ever!!
Thomas
Thomas is now 4 months old.
Thomas has Mosaic Down syndrome.
He has a sister named Madeleine and mom and dad are Kirsten and Pauwel. They all live in Belgium.
Thomas has already undergone a heart surgery. The picture was taken when he was 3 months, just a couple of days before his surgery.
Thomas is now doing well and starting to learn a lot!
Juliet Harmony
Juliet is 4 months old.
She is the first child to her parents, Lindsay and Jon that live in New Jersey.
She is in early intervention from 3 months old and always impresses her physical therapist. She has a VSD that which they say she might not need surgery for.
She sits up with support and holds her head up strong. She loves to play with her Tickle me Elmo, and absolutely loves balloons!
Her loving parents say, "Her smile will melt your heart, she is our angel from heaven."
