The information in this area of BIDS contains some very controversial
issues. Most of the information has not been proven to succeed or fail
in people with Down syndrome. In most cases, the "facts" both
supporting and discouraging the use of such ideas are based solely
on opinion. Still, BIDS encourages parents to find out the "facts" so
that they are better able to help their own child.
