Just to let everyone know...I bought my house! Of course, I call it MY house because I have already lived here for 16 years. I always wondered where I would go if this apartment suddenly wasn't for rent any more. No wondering any more! I also bought the land in back of the house, so I have a beautiful bucolic setting in the middle of Mansion Row in Downtown New Albany. I am still living in the upstairs, and I rent out the downstairs. (I'm a landlord now!?! How strange...) My mortgage ends the year I retire. (Whew! Just under the wire!) I am so grateful to my family for helping me out (Thanks Mom and Dad!) and I just couldn't be happier. Now if I can just make the payments, everything will be great!
