Author's notes: My take on how Grissom was burned, and why he's been becoming more withdrawn for the last two seasons. This is the beginning of a HUGE fan fic endeavor- one that I've never taken before. first- I've never tried to write a story where I've filled in so may blanks while at the same time needed to do research, second- I've NEVER posted a WIP_ I always told myself not to because I was afraid I'd never finish. But for some reason this wants to be worked on a lot, huge, and posted! Here goes nothing! | **AN - I'm trying a new format so that I can keep my site updated as easily as possible being that the story will be hitting over 200 pages in my Word Processor very shortly. I know the text format may be a bit harder to read and the only way to move between sections will be to hit the back button, but I will be sure to seperate the most recently updated chapter along with a date for everyone. | Update: As of 12/1/08, I have up to chapter 49 written. I HAVE STARTED POSTING!!! Chapter 37 is posted here already (see below!) but was newly posted to ff.net today. Look for 38 on Friday.
