| Chapter 2 |
| "And then, when I walked down to ask her about today. She was talking to someone about me being their daughter, and 'us' not finding out about something" I said confused as we walked through Spencers. "Wait, who's 'us'?" Jessica asked confused "That's the thing I don't know, but I think she was talking to my dad" I said as we stopped by the rack of posters. "Ems, are you sure. I mean your Mom never mentions him, let alone talks to him on the phone" She asked still confused "I dunno, but I was just wondering what she doesn't want me to find out" I said as a flipped through the posters. I came across the one we were looking for. It was the new Dream Street poster, and lets just say they looked hotter than usual. "Jess, we've hit the mother load" I said as I showed her the poster "WHOA, call 9-1-1, cause these guys are HOTT" Jess said still in a daze. I laughed "Jess, that sounds like a cheesy pickup line" I said referring to her statement. "I don't care, these guys define HOTT, hell they're way beyond it" She said as she took a wrapped poster and I did the same. We went to the cashier to pay for the posters. After that we went to the food court and got lunch. "So Jess, you still hung up on Greg?" I asked referring to Greg Raposo from Dream Street "Oh yeah, that boy is FINE" She said as she took a French fry and looked at me "You still hung up on Chris?" She asked trying to get me to confess. "I like all of them. They all have little things about them that I like" I replied truthfully. "Like?" She asked interested "Like, I dunno. I can't choose they're just cute all around." I replied smiling. We sat at the food court for another half an hour, before we had to go. Jessica's brother, Nick, came to pick us up, he wasn't alone, like that would ever happen. His friend Justin was sitting up front. "Hey sis, hey Emily" Nick replied flirtatiously "Hey Nick" I replied back as we pulled out of the parking lot. "Hey Emily, do you have a brother?" Justin asked. I only met him twice before, but he was cool "No, I'm an only child" I replied but kept looking out the window. Just to think that all that would change in about 20 minutes. |
