| Chapter 5* |
~Meanwhile~ "Hey dude, who was that on the front porch?" Frankie asked Greg as he got in the van, cause he was the only on who saw her, when he called looked out the window. "Oh that was Jessica. She's my new neighbor. My Mom went out with her Mom, to give her the tour of the city and they got stuck in traffic. So since I had rehearsal and couldn't cancel, and Mom's not coming till later she's gonna baby-sit" Greg said as all the guys looked at him "How did you guys meet?" Matt asked interested, since he didn't see her. He was driving. "Oh she goes to my school, and like I said she lives right next door" Greg said as a matter-of-factly "Oh that's cool, how old is she?" Chris asked from behind his glasses "She's a junior, so I'm guessing 16" Greg said not really sure They parked the car and headed into the building. As soon as they got in their choreographer, Claudia, started their warm-ups. They rehearsed all of the choreography and did all the vocals. They were still putting the finishing touches on who sings which part. Since their voices had changed (got deeper), they got to sing their songs (which was no problem) they just had to learn to control their voices. Which wasn't a problem for them, they were professionals, but they still needed to practice no matter how good they were. ~4 hours later~ "Thanks for the ride. See you guys tomorrow" Greg said as he, followed by Chris and Frankie, got out of the van. They waved bye to Jesse and Matt, and headed towards Greg's house. Frankie and Chris were spending the night, so they had their bags with them. "Hmm, Mom still hasn't come back. She probably still stuck in traffic" Greg said, as Frankie agreed "Yeah, it's a Friday night and you know how Time Square gets on the weekends" Chris said referring to the time, when they got stuck in traffic for two hours, after coming back from a concert. Greg unlocked the door, and saw the lights were on. It was pretty quiet, except for the TV noise, that was coming from the living room. All of them walked into the living room, to find Jessica sleeping on the leather couch. "Umm Greg, I don't wanna sound mean or anything, but why the hell is some girl sleeping in your living room?" Chris asked and took his glasses off. "Shhh, that's Jessica. My new neighbor." Greg said and walked over to her. "Oh sorry." Chris said and shrugged "Hey Jessie, wake up.... Jess.... Jessica" Greg said as he shook Jessica awake "Ugh, Mom we don't have school today. It's Saturday" Jessica mumbled and went back to sleep "No Jess. It's Greg, you fell asleep. Can you get up?" Greg asked as he shook her gently. She opened her eyes, and looked at him "I just called you Mom didn't I?" She asked with a confused face. Greg laughed "Yeah, but it's ok. Hey can you get up I want you to meet some of my friends" Greg said as he pulled her up "This is Frankie" He said as he pointed to a tall guy. He had black hair and seemed a lot like Greg. Except the earring. He looked like he was also very built, considering that I could see his six-packs through his shirt. "And this is Chris" He pointed to a guy with REALLY spiky hair. He was tan, and dresses to my liking. "Hi I'm Jessica" I said and extended my hand "We know. Nice to meet you" Frankie said and took my hand in response. "Huh?" I asked as I took Chris' hand and shook it "Oh Frankie saw you when we picked Greg up, so he asked who you were, and Greg told us" Chris responded. Just as we sat the phone rang and Greg went to pick it up. "Hey Jess, that was my Mom. She said that the traffic was really bad, and they decided to stay the night. Your Mom talked to your dad and he said that he's not getting home till late, and you can either spent the night here, or go home." Greg said and sat next to us. "I think I'm gonna go home, thanks for the offer. See you guys tomorrow." Jessica said and got up. The guys walked her next door and wouldn't leave till they made sure she locked the door. |
