--Two Weeks Later-- It was that day of the year that every teenager lived for to be accepted and considered a grown-up, and old people dreaded. The day of birth. Today, it just happened to be mine!! It's the day that I turn fifteen, and I was kinda nervous, because the last couple years Dani has pulled suprise parties on me, and all that crap. She was acting all happy and all that last night before I went to bed. I lifted my head from my pilled in my bunk, on the bus, which was driving to Cheyenne, Wyoming, or at least I thought that was where it was going. I looked around the bunk room, all the other bunks were occupied with its owner, except for Jesse's. I walked out into the dining/living area and saw Jesse sitting in the chair at the table, holding a mug of what I guess is coffee. He looked so cute, I guess he was deep in thought, so I just walked to the fridgerator and poured myself a glass of OJ. I sat down next to him and i guess startled him, because he jumped. "Hey, Good morning," I said to Jesse with a smile. "Hey, Happy Birthday!" he said back with a grin. "How did ya sleep?" I asked. "Eh, alright I guess. I woke up and couldnt get back to sleep, so I decided to come out and think...you know...about....stuff." "Yea, I love Stuff.� I said sarcastically, hinting that I had no idea what the heck he was saying. � I just got informed that we were going home for your birthday.� he said. �Yay!� I exclaimed. I gave him a hug and a kiss. DanI walked into the room, where me and Jesse were. She silently creeped up behind me and covered my eyes with her hands. �Guess who?!� she said disguising her voice. �Hmm..Lemme think�uh, DANI!� I said, �LOL, you were SO obvious� �Oh, lol, okay, nvm,� she said. �So, what are you doing today, Miss Danielle?� I asked her. �I don�t know, I was thinking of asking Chris out�but shh!!� DanI said while putting her pointer finger over her lips. �O-O-H! So, DanI�s got a thing for Chris?� Jesse asked in the �I thought so� tone. �Yea, lol, if you couldn�t have guessed,� I said �Oh, and Meg, I want to take you to the mall today, for your birthday.� DanI said, hoping that I didn�t already have plans. �Oh, sure.� I said. The bus was still driving home to Westchester, fourteen hours, twenty sodas, and nine candy bars later, the bus driver yelled, �we�re here!� All of us walked to our rooms inside the hotel, and I somehow ended up getting lost. I was walking around, and ten minutes later, I saw Frankie standing out in the hallway. I guess that he was waiting for me. �Heh, I got lost.� I said with a goofy grin. �Happy Birthday, and your room is right here,� Frankie said to me. �Thanks,� I said as I opened the door and walked into the room. I put down my bags. I saw a couple boxes wrapped in wrapping paper, on the bed. The one that caught my eye, was a little black velvet box, with a card that had fancy gold lettering. I opened the card and inside it said: � To Megan, My Angel, Happy Birthday, Love Always, Jesse. P.s. May all your dreams come true.� Aww.. My wish did come true. I was just standing there, with the box in my hands and I heard a knock at the door. � Who is it?� I yelled. �It�s Jesse!� he yelled back. �Oh, Come in!� I said to Jesse, as I sat on the floor, next to my bed. Jesse opened he door and said, �Hey Meg, Whatcha doing?� �Nothing, I�m about to open your present.� �Good, I came at the right time then.� �Yea.� I looked at him, and he smiled. His smiles can make you melt right on the spot. They�re so warm, and so cheerful. Even when he feels that the world is totally against him, his smiles are always warm. I carefully lifted the cover to the box and I looked at what was inside. It was a gold ring. I picked it up out of the box, and engraved it said, �Meg and Jesse forever� on the Outside, and on the inside, �Happy Birthday, Baby Girl, Love you Always, Jesse� Aww!!! That�s soo awesome! So thoughtful! So beautiful! But it must�ve been expensive, he shouldn�t spend his money on me! �Oh my god. Thank you so much! It�s beautiful, I love it!� �Great, I�m glad that you like it!� he said with a smile. �I love you, Jesse� �I love you too, Baby Girl.� �Hey listen, I gotta go to see what Greg wants for dinner. We�re ordering out. What do you want?� �I�ll have��a chef salad with Italian dressing, please.� �Okay, see you later, Love you.� �Love you too, bye.� �bye� Said Jesse, and walked out of my room, to Greg�s room. After Jesse left, DanI came by, and took me out to the mall. She bought me a cd, and an outfit. Awesome, huh? Well, moving on. When I was unpacking my stuff, I heard a knock on the door. �Come in!� I yelled. Matt walked into the room, and he sat on my bed. �Hey Meg.� he said. �Hey Matty-boy!� I said w/ a grin. �I need to talk to you. I need some advice. I mean, since you are a girl and all..� Matt stuttered and slowly said. �Yes Matt, I am a girl, lol, What do u need help with?� I sarcastically said. �Well, I, Uhh� I, uhh, like Danielle. I know that I shouldn�t be asking you for advice. You have a busy life, and I don�t want to bother you.� �You- wow! That�s awesome. No, you can talk to me about anything! I want to help yah!� �Okay, thanks, but do you think she likes me?� �Well, um, she might. When she took me to the mall today, she told me that she doesn�t like Chris anymore, and that she likes someone else in the group. At first I thought she was crushing on Jesse, but now I think it�s either you or Greg. Since Frankie has Gwen (his girlfriend), DanI wouldn�t get between them.� �Oh, I hope it�s me, she�s the greatest girl I�ve ever met.� �DanI�s my best friend, and she is pretty awesome.� �Would you think that you could convince her to like me?� �Matty-boy, I can try, but I can�t promise anything.� �Thank you so much Meg! I gotta get goin�!� �Okay, bye Matty-boy� I giggled at the Matty-boy part. �Bye Meg, Happy Birthday� he said and then he walked out. Once again, by myself. I found out that I get my own room, so I was all ready to party, when I heard a knock on the door. Geeze, again. I opened the door, and found a girl about my age, with shoulder length brown hair, standing in front of me with three duffle bags. �Hi, how can I help u?� �Hey, I�m Eva. Matt�s cousin. I�m going on tour with Dream Street, and Brian or some guy, told me to share a room with Megan. You are Megan, right?� she asked. �Yea, I�m Megan, Jesse�s g/f, Nice to meet you.� --a couple hours later-- Me and Eva are getting along pretty well, and Matt�s got a great cousin. It turns out that Eva�s got a major thing for Chris. After Eva and I finished unpacking, we decided to call the guys and invite them over for a movie. I picked up my cell phone, and dialed Jester�s cell. �Hey Jesse,� I said into the phone as Jesse picked up. �Hey Meg, what�s up?� �Nothing, but have you met Matty-boy�s cousin, Eva, yet?� �No, but I�d like to.� �Well, Eva and I want to know if all the guys wanted to come over to our room and watch a movie with us.� I said into the phone. Jesse asked Chris if he wanted to, and then he said into the phone �Yea, sure. See you then�around�8?� �Yea, bye.� �bye.� --click-- �What movie do you have?� I asked Eva. �Save the last dance�� �Oh, Julia Stiles is my fave actress!� I said, and Eva nodded her head in agreement. --Fast Forward: Later that night-- I heard a knock at the door, and so I ran our of the bathroom. I stopped, took a deep breath, and brushed off my clothes. I was wearing my khaki short shorts and my blue spaghetti-strapped Aeropostale tank top, along with my black adidas sandals. I opened the door to find all 5 guys, and DanI, standing there. They all came in and sat down on the couches and stuff, and got comfortable. The movie started, and half way through it, Greg broke the silence. �Guys, this is getting boring, I�ve seen it like a billion times already, literally.� Said Greg. �Yah, I got an idea!� Frankie said. �What is it?� Chris asked. �Let�s play, Truth or Dare.� Frankie said with a huge grin. |
