�It�s not fair!!!�
That�s what I shouted as I slammed the front door and ran outside. I quickly dashed to the back of my house and through our yard to my �sitting place�. It was where I had always gone when things weren�t going so well. Now was one of those times. As I plunged down under the familiar old oak tree, I couldn�t help but to weep bitterly.
Me-�Why, can�t we just stay here? Everything�s been going great lately, and Josh is probably gonna ask me to the dance....Ugh! I won�t even be here for it!�
*I reach for a nearby stone and chuck it as far as I can.*
(a nearby voice)-�Whoa, Valerie, easy there, you could hurt somebody throwing rocks like that!�
Me-�Who�s there?�
(voice)-�haha, you don�t even recognize your own bf?��*girl steps out from behind a nearby tree*�
Me-�Jana?�� *I wipe some of my own tears away*
Jana-(in a joking way) �That would be me�or does somebody else know about this spot, too?�You haven�t been going around blabbing our secret away to everyone now, have ya?�
Me- *sniffling*��Haha, to who? Brian?� *We both laugh becuz Brian is my younger brother*��How did u know I was here?�
Jana-�call it best friend intuition�so what�s up? U get stuck doing all of Brian�s chores again?..That lil kid is sneaky!�
Me-�Nah,� *laughing* �I�m just worried, u know, about the move? What if it doesn�t work out? I�m gonna miss u soooo much Ja-��
Jana- �Shut up!!!!!�
Me-(caught off guard) �whaaaa???�
Jana-�Haha, I knew that u�d make that face!�
Me-�huh, what face? I do not make a face!�
Jana-�oh�hehe�well, actually ure right, I just had to stop u from talking about it�Things will be fine.�
Me- *after a few seconds of thought* �...Well maybe ure right�what the hell am I worried about anywayz?�
Jana-�Exactly! We know that were gonna keep in touch, and call each other everyday! It�s not like we�re preparing for ure death, right?!�
Me-�okay�yeah!!!�I mean, it�s not like it�s that far, Massachusetts to New York, I think our friendship can outlast that! If it can�t, then it must have been sad from the first pla-��
(Far off voice)-�VALERIE!!! Get over here!!! Mom doesn�t sound too happy with ya! I�d get in before she starts to get really angry!!!�
Me-�ugh, that must be dork-brain�I better go like he says�I guess this is��
Jana-�Jeez, don�t start to make a scene just get over here!�
**The two of us exchange a long tight hug�as we fight back tears**
Jana-�uh��bye� *sniffles*
Me-�um�cya, I guess��..*I start to walk back towards my house*
