Chapter 1!! �Class I would like you to all meet Amanda Peterson she just moved here form Rhode Island please make her feel welcome� Mandy nervously looked around the room, she saw all the kids whispering and looking at her. �Oh god please let me make a good impression. Please let them like me.� When Amanda took a glance around the room one particular boy stood out. �Why does he seem so familiar?� Mandy asked herself. �Amanda please take a seat next to Greg he will show you around.� Greg waved his hand and pointed to the seat next to him. Mandy seated herself next to him. � Hi my name is Greg Raposo� Trying to collect her thoughts Amanda managed to say �Hi am Amanda Peterson, you can call me Mandy.� �Cool so when did you move to Long Island?� �A few days ago� All the memories of her friends and family raced through her head. She wished she could be back in her old school. �Hey lets compare schedules so I know where to tell you to go� �Ok� replied Amanda with a grin. �What do u have next period?� he asked as he leaned over to look �Um� science with Mr. Anderson. �Sweet. Me too� grinned Greg. �Then what?� �Then I have um�math with Mr. Neil�s �Wow another class together!� �What a coincident� smiled Amanda not trying to show her excitement. As they finished comparing schedules, they realized that they had all of the same classes. By lunchtime Greg and Amanda became friends. They exchanged cell and phone numbers. They bell rang which dismissed the school. It was the end of the first day. �Ok I need science, um�French, math and geography. Oh yea and English too� Mandy said thinking out loud to herself. Just as she but the last book report in her backpack Greg came over to her locker. �Ready?� �Yea. But ready for what?� �You go on bus 2 right?� �Yeah, why?� Amanda replied totally confused. �Well I go on the same bus as you!� �Really� she said surprised but happy. They both walked on the bus and took a seat in the front. Yea what your address?� �284 West valley Lane� �Ok I get off the bus the stop before yours. So can you surrvie without me for one stop?� he said laughing �Um�I�m not sure,� Amanda said sarcastically. �Ha ok I�ll take that as a yes.� About 5 minutes later the bus came to a stop. �Ok this is where I get off.� �Ok� Amanda said totally forgetting that they where on the bus. �I�ll talk to you later.� �Oh, ok bye, see you tomorrow.� She was trying not to sound to thrilled about him saying that he would talk to her later. �Yep bye� �Bye� Greg got off the bus and looked back at Mandy and winked. When Greg was out of sight Amanda slouched into her seat and sighed. What a WONDERFUL first day! The bus came to a stop again and Amanda pulled herself together and got off the bus. |
