SALES POLICY
As of 9-04-2004

1. All bird(s) will be sold with a 72-hour health guarantee. You the buyer is encouraged to have the bird(s) examined by a qualified veterinarian at this time. In the event of a health matter or untimely death of a purchased bird(s) that is examined by a vet and proven to be unsound at the time of purchase. (I.E. congenital disorder or unknown health problem at the time of the sale, the bird will be replaced or monies refunded (Seller's choice). If you already own birds you must take your purchase to an avian vet before taking it home or this guarantee is void. Only bird(s) seen by a vet will be guaranteed. If you, the buyer fails to have a vet check within 72-hours it will be understood that the bird(s) were sold "AS IS". This guarantee is limited to congenital or pre-existing (if any) health inssues only. No accidents will be covered. D'stielsnmore will only be held accountable for the price/replacement of the bird(s) and/or up to $50.00 for medications prescribed by an avian vet within the 72 hour time period.
2. All bird(s) are sold with a traceable leg band (unless otherwise noted) to idenitfy that individual bird. If the leg band is removed, guarantee is void.
3.A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required on unweaned babies.
4. A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required on adult birds not picked up within a 5-Day period. NO BIRDS WILL BE HELD WITH OUT A DEPOSIT!
5. Deposit is only refundable if the bid(s) are undeliverable on sellers' side. If at the time of the completion of sale, the bird is unabailable, I will either replace with a bird of equal value or a refund will be made.
6. Pirces are subject to change, but once a deposit is made the price for that bird(s) is fixed.
7. All bird(s) are to be paid infull before delivery is made or at time of delivery, or at the time of pickup. NO exceptions.
8. Payments can be made with cash(prefered), paypal, money orders are accepted but must be drawn from a post office. personal checks are also accepted. However checks MUST clear the bank before bird(s) can be picked up or delivered. Because of recent scams I cannot accept cashiers checks.
9. At this time there is NO shipping. I can meet within a reasonable distance from my house.
10.0 Buyer will be furnished with a receipt once full payment is received. Receipts for deposits or installments are available upon request.
11. If after 5 days and no deposit has been received. Bird(s) will go back up for sale. I will not hold a bird with out a deposit.
12. If we have talked about one of my birds. And I do not hear back from you within a 3 day time period, either through email or phone, I will not hold the bird for you.

At this time I do not ship my birds. I can meet up or deliver up to an hour away for no fee. I can meet or deliver up farther for a small gas fee. Gas fee is based on total distance driven. I would prefer the gas fee if any to be paid ahead. To avoid, driving that far and not having the buyer show up. I have run into that a few times.
