| The Friends of Johnny Mercer celebrated Johnny's 95th birthday with a book reading on Sat., Nov.6, 2004 at Leopold's Ice Cream Shop. The readings were from the new Mercer biography, Portrait of Johnny, by Gene Lees. The readings were done by Johnny's niece, Nancy Gerard. On Sun. Nov.7, 2004 the birthday concert featured local talent and The Pied Pipers. |
