Hull, who will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, is not expected to be offered a contract by his current team, the Detroit Red Wings. The Star-Telegram reports if Hull does return to Dallas he will have to take a pay cut from the $5 million he made this past season in Detroit.

season (11)…The 11 GWG equaled the second-highest total of his career…Marked
the ninth time in his career he has scored more than 30 goals in a season…Was
+19 for the year, which was the second-highest total of his career…Registered
the 200th power play goal of his career on Oct. 17 at Chicago as part of a
three-point game (1-2-3)…Posted the 1,000th point of his career with
an assist on Nov. 14 at Boston as part of a three-point contest (2-1-3)…He
became the 53rd player in NHL history to reach the 1,000 point milestone and
joined his father Bobby as the first father/son combination in NHL history
to each record 1,000 points…Played in 22 of the Stars 23 playoff games…Finished
first in the NHL in playoff shots (86), tied for fifth in goals (8) and PPG
(3), tied for seventh in GWG (2) and tied for eighth in points (15)…Both

but returned to play in Games Five and Six despite having a torn MCL and a
