DiMaio, 36, appeared in 69 games with the Dallas Stars last season, posting on the board nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points. The 5-10, 190-pound native of Calgary recorded his 100th career NHL goal on March. 11 at Philadelphia and showed up for his 800th career NHL game on Dec. 27 at Columbus. In his past three seasons with the Stars, DiMaio has collected 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points, with 153 penalty minutes in only 199 games.

Over his 16 NHL seasons, Rob DiMaio has registerd 102 goals and 158 assists for 260 points with 810 penalty minutes in 833 career games.He has played for the New York Islanders in the past (1988-1992), also the 2004 Stanley Cup champs, the Tampa Bay Lightning (1992-1994), the Philadelphia Flyers (1994-1996), the Boston Bruins (1996-2000), the New York Rangers (2000), the Carolina Hurricanes (2000-2001) and last but not least, the Dallas Stars (2001-2004).

Don Sweeney, 37, appeared in 63 games last year with the Dallas Stars, registering 11 assists and a +22 rating. Finishing the season ranked second on the Stars in plus/minus statistics. On Feb. vs. the Minnesota Wild game, Don Sweeney became the 38th defensemen in NHL history to appear in 1,100 career games.
