Sharks Swamped, 3-1
The Dallas Stars pull off another big win. This is their second win in a row. After 20 scoreless minutes, the Sharks bite first from a Vincent Damphousse goal at the 7:31 mark. Dallas attacked with a Brenden Morrow goal to tie things up 1-1. Jason Arnott made a pass to Jere Lehtinen and Lehtinen blasted it into the Sharks net at 17.01 to give the Stars the go ahead goal. Marty Turco did a great job in keeping the 2-1 lead for Dallas. Blocking every shot that came in his way determined to win another game and get his team a playoff spot. Jere Lehtinen picked up a pass from Matvichuk. Lehtinen skated down into the Sharks zone and ripped a shot into the Sharks empty net to make 3-1 at the 19:59 mark. Marty Turco turned away a total of 15 shots from San Jose and Sharks goaltender, Toskala blocked 35 shots. There where a great amount of penalties in this game-First Period Penalties-
