Kings force 2-2 tie

Stars held a 2-1 lead over the Kings for half of the game.But King's Martin Straka put the puck in the net midway in the third period, which carried the game on to overtime. Turco and the rest of the team seemed alot better than the Phoenix game. Stu Barnes and Bill Guerin scored for the Stars,and sadly the team was without team captain Mike Modano who had a |groin injury | who was also listed as day-to-day. The Dallas Stars and Los Angeles Kings just happen to be another victim of Phoenix goaltender Brian Boucher's last two shutouts, as he blanked Los Angeles 4-0 on New Year's Eve before his team's big road victory in Dallas Friday which was a 6-0 defeat over Dallas.
