Stars activate Modano from injured Reserved-
Captain Mike Modano missed six games because of a (groin injury) and didn't go with the Stars for the start of their five-game road trip, the longest of the season. He returned to the club Thursday in Colorado.

just 25 points and a career-worst minus-19 rating in his first 40 games, Modano was voted by fans as a Western Conference starter for the NHL all-star game next month.

It will be Modano's second straight start and he will be joined in the lineup by two Dallas teammates, forward Bill Guerin and goaltender Marty Turco.
