ABOUT DSR
DSR is the most popular cultural organization of RUET. It goes through totally in a nonpolitical environment from its birth. The former name of DSR was DSBR. It means Debating Society of BIT, Rajshahi.
It was formed in 1996 But the conception of its forming was stored in 1995.
During the year 1995 the country was flood-affected. Students of this institute stood beside flood-victims. One of these students was Anowar Rahman Shadhin.
Once during the time of distribution of goods to flood-victims at Mohonpur, a place of Rajshahi, he got some energetic, strong students as distributors like him who loved debate by heart there.
Actually it was the time when the seed of DSBR was planted.
