The Emperor Has No Clothes
Canada's Health System in not a health system; it is a disease system that looks at illness after it has occurred. Moreover our society is a death denying one in which many "worry" they have a serious ailment but actually do not. These people often live in poverty, poor social circumstances (ie abuse) lack educational skills the true determinants of health.

Canada's "health" system is truly at a crossroads: we can continue to pour billion of dollars into a system which  produces little change in outcomes or we can shift health care dollars into improving education, reducing poverty etc.

To Dr Jones the answer is clear!! In this paper he will describe novel solutions to fix our "health" care system. The solution to emergency room overcrowding has already been published in the The Ottawa Citizen (July 21st, 2001) and the London Free Press (Aug 2, 2001)

Although somewhat technical, Dr Jones will endeavor to present The Emperor Has No Clothes Canada's Health (Disease/Dis Ease) System at the Crossroads: Reflections on the Past & Present, Blueprint for the Future,  in a concise and clear manner. Read on and enjoy the solutions to Canada's health care crisis.
