If for some reason you didn't have an excuse to buy a gamecube, you do now! Resident Evil is the coolest video game I've ever played. Like I said in the quick review: it's not a first-person shooter, like Doom or Quake. I'm not a huge fan of first-person shooters because it gets boring having almost unlimited ammo, a million guns, and a million more enimies. I find survival horror games (Resident Evil) to be funner. There's puzzles which are fun (no, it's not full of puzzles like Mist), limited ammo, so running from zombies happens alot, traps, limited health items, limited saves, limited spots to save, limited room for items, and other stuff to make it VERY hard. Yea, I noticed alot of limited stuff, too. The story line is cool, and it has enough cut-sceens so you feel like part of the story. |
