Conversion 50 RDC -> 2500 GCr Physical Description: The Domani are primarily Centauri, although they also accept human psis as well as anyone simply fleeing from the Terran regime. Due to the thin atmosphere of Domani Prime, the populace has developed radiation resistance. History: The history of the Domani Union starts as a direct result of the anti-psionic policies of Earth from 2138 to 2215. These policies led to the Centauri War of 2217 to 2222, which the Centauri Cluster lost. In the accords ending the war, the governments of Earth and Centauri unveiled the charter for the Terran Imperium. This event is referred to in Domani history books as the Day of Darkness. The formation of the Terran Imperium sparked an almost-immediate wave of persecutions against psis, led by organized murder squads collectively called the Blood Hand that swept the colonies in a hunt for fugitive psis. The sweep was not as efficient as they reported to the government, and in fact, hundreds or thousands of people were able to flee into the open space to the northeast, where they soon settled down on a marginally habitable planet in the Domani Cluster. The Domani expanded at a modest pace, soon coming in contact with the Kressig and conflicting with the Terran Imperium. The Domani participated in both of the interstellar wars on the side of the Empire of Somerset against Terra. For the most part, the Domani Union has became prosperous and the Domani people are a largely accepting people. The lone exception: they take a grim view on anyone trying to slip across the border from the Terran Imperium. --- Submitted by John Brengman
