101. Dark Lord Rising (DR, DD, DW)

The group is called to a formerly-uncharted planet to aid a ship that had been attacked by pirates. Once there, they find a mutilated ship in orbit. On the planet, they discover Victor Vennon and his cronies, who are being led by a Mephistopheles clone who wants to repair the orbiting wreck and use it to get to the Mephistopheles Nebula to revive his mentor.

102. The Nightmare (JW, DD, DW)

The group is swept into a dream-like world created by Selene Nyjax, who is attempting to gain revenge on Nexus for shunning her interest in a new class of ship designs by destroying NCr 7. In the midst of this adventure, Xavier is repeatedly forced to relive the events surrounding Rachel�s death, and the mental trauma this produces sends him into a coma. Sarah Nyjax barely manages to escape Selene�s mental grasp and save the ship.

103. Coma (DD, JW) (Guest GM: DW)

Sarah Nyjax and Markenaught are sent into Xavier�s mind to induce him to return from within his coma.

104. The Unknown Soldiers
(DW, JW, DR) (Guest GM: BM)

The group responds to a distress signal from an uncharted world and once they arrive, they discover that everything on the planet has been destroyed. Once they are on the surface of the planet, they confront the spider-like drones of the Death Legions.

105. Piracy on the Spacelanes
(DD, DW, JW, TW) (MERC)

The crew is stranded in space during a mission to deliver an ambassador to the Bortha system, thanks to the captain�s tinkering with the computer system. When they send out a distress call, it is picked up by a pirate vessel commanded by the Magi, who attempts to capture the ship. The crew manages to escape and they head to Nautilus for repairs.

106. When Confusion Strikes (DR) (Guest GM: BM)

A mysterious figure gives Corona a gem with an hourglass inside it. No matter which way the hourglass is turned, the sand still pours through it. The visitor tells Corona that he has twelve hours, and to beware the �shy one.� Corona meets the Shy One and a brief battle ensues, during which the Shy One tells Corona that the mysterious figure was his brother, and that HE is the one Corona should be fighting.

107. The Trial (DD, JW) (MERC)

The group goes on a mining expedition and meet a race of aliens who put the Nexus civilization on trial. After gathering information from the minds of the team, the aliens decide that Nexus is unfit to exist, but they are convinced to review their evidence before rendering a final judgement.

108. Hardcore (DW, TW, BM, JB) (Guest GM: DR)

The group�s R&R on Alhambra is disrupted when they receive a call from NCr 7 reporting an emergency. When they reach the ship, they find that Mechanon has stolen the ship�s warp core and taken it to the planet, where he plans to detonate it. Mechanon is defeated, but corona and Knight Dragon disappear when they create a dimensional rift to get rid of the antimatter pod.

109. The Time Caper
(DW, TW, DR, JB) (Guest GM: BM)

The group is kidnapped by a mysterious villain who teleports them to a surreal Nexus, thirty years in the future. Combatra destroys the machinery trapping the group in the future and they return to NS 174.

110. Into the Realm of the Dark Queen (DW, DD, TW, JW)

While investigating the disappearance of a Nexus science ship in the Ahrlohn Asteroid Belt, the team is drawn through a wormhole and into a portion of the galaxy quite a way from Nexus where they encounter an evil civilization who worships the Spider Goddess.

After nearly being sacrificed to the evil goddess, the team barely manages to escape back through the wormhole to Nexus. The crew of the science ship are reported killed.

111. Assault on the Psychocrypt

While investigating the disappearance of a Nexus science ship in the Ahrlohn Asteroid Belt, the team is drawn through a wormhole and into a portion of the galaxy quite a way from Nexus where they encounter an evil civilization who worships the Spider Goddess.

112. Vision of Destruction
(DR, DW, TW) (Guest GM: BM)

KnightDragon and Sli Silver were hitching a ride on a Nexus ship when something collided with it, disabling the engine. Xavier, Illian, and Sly Silver investigated the incident and discovered that an egg-shaped object had attached itself to the ship. Corona discovered that the egg-ship was draining energy from the Nexus vessel. It was also discovered that the vessel belonged to the Death Legions. Corona infiltrated the enemy ship and discovered that the Death Legion was sending signals through a dimensional portal which were being received by a huge fleet of ships. He also discovered that they had developed a process enabling them to safely mix matter and antimatter. Corona disrupted this process, destroying both the Death Legion ship and the Nexus ship.

113A. Regeneration, Part 1 (DD, DW)

After a bout with morning sickness, Sarah finds out that she is pregnant. With the exception of that news, she spends a rather peaceful day with Xavier as they travel to Nexus aboard the NS Quintana(DN 5).

That night however, Sarah is kidnapped by Lung Hung and a mage accomplice, who plan on transferring the soul of Black Raven into the unborn child. Xavier tracks the villains down and a battle erupts. Just as they are about to lose, the villains teleport away, taking Sarah with them.

113B. Regeneration, Part 2
(DD, DW, JW)

After docking at the NOC, Xavier finds Capt. Stacy Wilkins and Blackjack, and convince them to accompany him in tracking Sarah down. He also enlists the aid of Nikko, and they set off in search of their missing friend.

At the site of the last battle, Xavier finds a teleportation trace that leads the team to an abandoned base in the system�s asteroid belt. After searching the base, the team finds a transporter record that indicates that a party transported aboard a ship. The team finds the ship�s ion trail and follows it.

The trail takes the team quite close to the system�s star, where they find the ship. Once aboard, they find Lung Hung, and several other members of VOICE along with Sarah, who is hooked up to a machine that is slowly aging the fetus within her. A short fight erupts, and when Lung Hung senses that she is losing, she and the rest of the villains teleport away.

The team heads to the cockpit of the ship and discovers that the place has been wrecked and that they are gradually floating into the star. They head back to their ship and barely manage to escape serious injury from a trap placed on the airlock.

113C. Regeneration, Part 3
(DD, DW, JW)

The team follows the VOICE ship to its base, where they confront Lung Hung and VOICE, who are in the final stages of bringing Sarah�s baby to term. A vicious battle ensues, and the team is knocked unconscious.

Lung Hung threatens Sarah in order to get her cooperation, saying that if she doesn�t, her friends will die. She then demonstrates this by having her guards open fire on Xavier. In a rage, Sarah blinds most of the villains with her light powers, and Blackjack drops a couple more. Lung Hung and the team then face off, and Lung Hung threatens the team, saying that both Sarah and her baby will die unless the operation is carried out. After seeing that this is not swaying the team, Lung Hung quickly ducks down beneath the table, plants an explosive device, and teleports away.

Blackjack orders the computer aboard the ship to transport Sarah and the doctor working on her, then he sets out to defuse the bomb. He fails to deactivate the device, and it explodes, killing everyone in the room.

Captain Wilkins, who had been hit by another door trap before the battle and had been knocked out, reawakened outside the door to the base�s medical center. She opened the door and found the room in flames. After a frantic search for survivors, she transported herself aboard the ship and set off to Nexus.

114. Court Date (BR, DD, DW, JW)

Things can get a little nasty at a bar, even if it is located on the Nexus Offworld Colony, and the bartender at Nightingale�s had thought he had seen the worst until Capt. Stacy Wilkins entered the bar and tried to order illegal whiskey. When she got into an argument with the bartender, a couple of mercenaries who called themselves Redblade and Billy the Kid tried to intervene and in the process, Redblade pulled out her pistol. The bartender immediately used his silent alarm to signal Security.While the guards were trying to get Redblade to accompany them, Billy pulled his gun on the guards, and the guards promptly shot him for his efforts. They were both arrested.

While awaiting their trial, Redblade is abused and raped by the sergeant who commanded the force that had arrested them. Later, at the hearing, Zachary Foxx, acting as the Head Judge in this case, fines the two mercenaries 1000 credits each. At that point, Redblade presents her counter-charges of assault and rape. Foxx places the court in recess while an investigation is called to check out the charges.

The sergeant visits both Redblade and Billy, beats them both again and warns them not to say anything against him in court. The next day in the court room, as Redblade begins to get into testimony that would definately incriminate the sergeant, he stands up and shoots her, nearly killing her. Zachary then stands up and fires his force bolt into the sergeant, killing him.While in her quarters after the trial, Redblade finds a letter from the Nexus Military Command detailing the death of her brother, Blackjack.

115A. Birth of a Universe, Part 1
(DD, DW, JW)

DN 7 is sent to explore an anomaly in the fabric of space near the Nexus world of Mistelbach. What they discover is a black hole-like formation that draws the ship into it. On the other side, the team discovers an inhabited planet and a Hesperian ship. They also discover that the formation they have encountered is more like a sinkhole than anything else, and that it is in fact a universe that is about to be born. However, the crew is too busy attempting to repair the damage done to the ship to really investigate matters further.

That night, a Mephistopheles clone appears to Sarah and tells her that her baby�s fate is linked to that of the ship, and that as the ship�s condition gets worse, so will the baby�s. He tells Sarah that the reason he is doing this is to see how much Sarah actually loves her child.

115B. Birth of a Universe, Part 2
(DD, JW)

The crew of DN 7 manage to get enough power to perform a T/D microjump that allows a team to board the Hesperian ship undetected. When the team does board the enemy ship, thye find that it is a derelict. They also find a prototype planetary shield and a few self-contained stasis capsules.

The team sets up the planetary shield on the planet to protect it from the approaching explosions which will mark the birth of a new universe. They then make their escape just as the universe is being born, and Sarah is relieved to see that her child has survived this ordeal.
