271. Shadowbane (MDW, RL, JZ)

Zhvaezhvh and Aldetaan are tortured at the hands of the vampires while Ingram and Daria rush back to Nexus to attempt to save them. On the way, they defeat several attempts by the vampires to trap them. In the end, Zhvaezhvh and Aldetaan defeat the admiral who is the leader of this particular group of vampires.

272. The Wolcott Node (MDW, RL, JZ)

The group is sent to investigate the Wolcott Gun after attempts to ready it to defend against the vampires at Koberon fails, as does the first attempt to find out what has happened. The group discovers that an AIC node has formed at the gun, but this one is incomplete and unstable. Using a form of planetary bombardment, the AIC node is disabled, but the Wolcott Gun is destroyed in the process.

273. First Eden of the Naam
(JB, MDW, JZ) (Guest GM: RL)

The group investigates a slavery ring in the Trikaran Empire and discovers a secret Jhi'Naam colony where beings from the region are brought to be the prey in the Jhi'Naam hunts.

After the Endeavor is destroyed with the loss of about 80 of the crew, the High Nexus force the Jhi'Naam to sign the Illumination Treaty, which allows them to operate Hrroar'cha and also sets aside several areas of the galaxy as hunting preserves. In return, the Jhi'Naam agree to do their business above the boards, so to speak.

274. The Illumination War
(MDW, RL, JZ)

The group must foil two plots hatched in the aftermath of the signing of the Illumination Treaty. The first centers around the attempts of a Jhi'Naam clan leader named Rakathi to seize power on the Trikaran world of Rorri and the surrounding areas. The second is a scheme to kill the leader of Hrroar'cha, thus creating an incident whereby the Trikaran Empire would be completely destroyed. The shadow wraith behind the second plot is killed, but he takes the names of his employers to the grave with him.
