| Article I: | All fantasy franchise owners shall assemble in person at an agreed upon | ||||||||
| time and place for the annual player draft meeting. | |||||||||
| Article II: | Each team will be responsible for the $50.00 league fee due on the day | ||||||||
| of the draft. No pay, no play (no exceptions). | |||||||||
| Article III: | The draft order shall be determined by the order of finish in the standings | ||||||||
| in the previous year. The draft order will be 5-6-7-8-9-10-4-3-2-1, where | |||||||||
| 4-3-2-1 are determined by order of finish in the playoffs. The tiebreaker is | |||||||||
| points scored in the regular season. | |||||||||
| Article IV: | Each franchise owner shall select sixteen (16) players as follows: | ||||||||
| two (2) quarterbacks, four (4) running backs, six (6) receivers/tight ends, | |||||||||
| two (2) kickers, and two (2) defense/special teams. | |||||||||
| Article V: | The schedule will be fourteen (14) weeks. The next two weeks of the NFL | ||||||||
| season will be the fantasy playoffs. | |||||||||
| Article VI: | During the season, each franchise owner shall submit a starting lineup to | ||||||||
| the league commissioner prior to the kickoff of the first NFL game of the | |||||||||
| week (sometimes as early as Thursday). If no lineup is submitted, it shall | |||||||||
| be assumed to be the same as the previous week's lineup. | |||||||||
| Article VII: | Each starting lineup is made up of one (1) quarterback, two (2) running | ||||||||
| backs, two(2) receivers, one flex position (rb or wr), one(1) kicker, and | |||||||||
| one (1) defense/special team. | |||||||||
| Article VIII: | Fantasy teams score points when their starters score in NFL games. | ||||||||
| Touchdowns shall be worth six (6) points, touchdown passes worth four | |||||||||
| (4) points, field goals worth three (3) points, safeties worth two (2) points, | |||||||||
| and extra points worth one (1) point. | |||||||||
| Article IX: | The defense/special teams "player", unlike the field player, is an entire | ||||||||
| NFL team. It scores whenever any player on that NFL team returns a | |||||||||
| kickoff, punt, interception, opponent's fumble, or blocked punt for a | |||||||||
| touchdown. The defense/special teams player also scores on two (2) | |||||||||
| point conversions and safeties. Defense also gets six (6) points for a shutout. | |||||||||
| Article X: | Franchise owners may place any player on the injured reserve list if he is | ||||||||
| also on the NFL's injured reserve list or inactive list, or if he is listed as | |||||||||
| "doubtful" or "out" on the NFL's weekly injury report. Once players have | |||||||||
| been activated by their NFL teams, or no longer appear on the NFL | |||||||||
| weekly injury report, they must leave the FFL injured reserve list. | |||||||||
| Article XI: | If a player is not on a fantasy team, he is considered to be a "free agent" | ||||||||
| available on the waiver wire. Franchise owners may obtain any player off | |||||||||
| the waiver wire on a first-come, first-serve basis by notifying the | |||||||||
| commissioner. For each player obtained via waivers, a player must be | |||||||||
| released or placed on the injured reserve list. Each roster move shall cost | |||||||||
| the franchise $1.00. After ten (10) roster moves, the cost goes up to $5.00 | |||||||||
| per transaction. | |||||||||
| Article XII: | If two or more franchise owners wish to trade players, they may do so by | ||||||||
| contacting the commissioner. No trades shall be permitted after kickoff of | |||||||||
| the first NFL game on Thanksgiving Day. Each trade shall cost the | |||||||||
| franchise $1.00 for every player traded. | |||||||||
| Article XIII: | The following is the tiebreaker scheme should two or more teams have | ||||||||
| identical records at the end of the season: (1) Total Points Scored; | |||||||||
| team in a tie; (2) Record against each other; (3) Total Point Differences; | |||||||||
| (4) Total points scored against other teams in the tie; (5) Point difference | |||||||||
| in games against other teams in a tie; (6) team with higher draft number. | |||||||||
| Article XIV: | During the regular season, if two (2) teams starting lineups end in a tie, then | ||||||||
| they go into "overtime" with their eight (8) non-starters are compared against | |||||||||
| each other. If the teams are still tied, then it goes down as a tie for each team. | |||||||||
| Article XV: | The franchise owner with the worst overall record shall purchase the beer | ||||||||
| (minumum 1 case) for the draft the following year. | |||||||||
| Article XVI: | The total prize money available is from the league fees and transactions | ||||||||
| during the season. The Team with the most points scored by their starting | |||||||||
| eight players during the regular season wins $50.00. The balance of the prize | |||||||||
| money is distributed to the top four teams as they finish in the playoffs as follows: | |||||||||
| 1st Place: 50% | |||||||||
| 2nd Place: 25% | |||||||||
| 3rd Place: 15% | |||||||||
| 4th Place: 10 % | |||||||||
| Article XVII: | Any team that starts a player(s) - (1) whose team has a bye week (2) has been | ||||||||
| cut by an NFL team (3) who is known to be out with a serious injury (discretion | |||||||||
| of the commissioner) - will have their team "sold" to a new owner immediately | |||||||||
| after the second offense of any combination of the previously numbered conditions. | |||||||||
| The former team loses their league fee and the new team will pay a pro-rated fee. | |||||||||
| Article XVIII: | Articles may be revised or added only during the off season, and only with | ||||||||
| a two-third majority approval of franchise owners. | |||||||||
| These rules were established with fair play in mind so please try to keep it that way. | |||||||||
