Week 9

With another loss by the Hooters to the Headbutts again, they now find themselves in a tie for first place with the red hot Hell’s Angelas. With both teams winning their last two weeks, the Headbutts are in 2nd place and the Glazed Donuts are alone in 3rd place. Everyone else in the league has a losing record. With their first weekly pot, the Glazed Donuts could be running away with the Money Cup, and now have a 31 point lead over the Headbutts. NFL Notes:  How bad was it for the Rams Sunday? Marc Bulger was their leading rusher with 32 yards…After Sunday, Kurt Warner has a career 21-4 record in the St. Louis Dome…In the “Who’s Tracking these Kind of Stats” Dept.: The Bengals are 5-1 since 2004 in which they wore the orange jerseys and white pantsHere are the highlights from Week 9:

Headbutts 39, Hooters 28: Rob Bironas scored 13 points and Eli Manning added another 12 points as the Headbutts nursed the Mammary Glands and snapped the Hooters seven game winning streak. Ned is now 9-1 against Chunky in the last 10 games and has won the last two games.

Woglom’s Warriors 23, Hoochie Mommy 10:  The hyphenated running back team of the law firms of Maurice Jones-Drew and BenJarvis Green-Ellis both scored and the Warriors continue their domination of the Moocher’s. With the help of the Momma’s leaving 25 points on the bench (“Old Hat” Matt Stover had 13 points); the Woglom’s swept this year’s series and outscored her 49-25. He also is a career 3-0 against the Hoochies.
