Week 7

 

      With the fantasy season now officially one-half over, it is the Hooters on top of the standings, Hell’s Angelas in 2^nd place, and Headbutts, Hoochie Mommy, and Flounders in 3^rd,  all with 4-3 records. Last season at this point, Hooters were 1-6  and Coach Biddison had a 2-5 record. Nice turn around coaches…Speaking of turnarounds, Ned the Dog was 5-2 at this point last year, while struggling at 2-5 this year. …NFL Notes: Ben Roethlisberger is 11-0 in the state of Ohio as a pro. Of course, the only pro teams in Ohio are the Bengals and Browns…Green Bay’s Ryan Grant now has one more TD than I do. I don’t feel too bad since he has three more fumbles than I do…Carolina John Kasay is 14 of 14 on field goals this year…Adrian Peterson became the fastest player in history to reach 2000 career yards. It only took him 21 games…The Vikings special teams have already given up 5 TD’s this season…Here are the highlights from Week 7:

 

Hell’s Angelas 41, Glazed Donuts 40:  Down 40-34 going into Monday night, Wes “Luke Sky”Welker scored late in the 3^rd quarter and “Door” Matt Prater added an extra point in the 4^th quarter and the Hell’s fried the Blazed Nuts for their 3^rd straight victory.

 

Hoochie Mommy 40, Headbutts 14: Newly acquired Mewelde “Until now, career was Poor” Moore scored 18 points to help the Smoochies smother the Deadbutts to put both teams in a tie for 3^rd place.

 

Woglom’s Warriors 38, Ned the Dog 20:  The Chicago “Da” Bears defense scored 18 points and the uncalled lineup of  Ned left 47 points on the bench and the Warriors sacrificed the Dogs for their second straight win and their first career victory against Ned.

 

Hooters 29, Geeks on Call 21: Down 18-15 going into Monday night, “Slammin” Sammy Morris scored six points, but Stephen “The Big” Gostkowski booted in 11 points as the Hooters blinded the Geeks to win their career high sixth straight game.

 

Flounders 52, Benchwarmers 26: Up 40-26 going into Monday night, Randy “was Quite Handy” Moss scored 12 points to help put the game away for the Flat Fish and put them in a tie for third place.
