Week 6

 

     With the Headbutts heartbreaking loss to the Hell’s Angelas, the Hooters stand alone in first place. The Headbutts still have a slight 11 point lead over the Glazed Donuts in the race for the Money Cup. ....Commish’s Corner: The Baltimore Ravens are 1-9 in their last 10 road games and have lost seven straight…The Bengals have started off 0-6 for the third time since 2000…It may seem hard to believe, but Eagles Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb have won more games together than 49ers Bill Walsh and Joe Montana. Now Super Bowl Wins are a completely different story… Here are the highlights from Week 6:

 

Hell’s Angelas 37, Headbutts 35:  Down 37-31 going into Monday night, Eli “Apple Pie” Manning could only manage four points against the humble Cleveland Browns and the Hellfires held on to shave the Headcutts and place them both in a tie for 2nd place. Thomas “Davey” Jones led the Hell with 18 points, while Josh Brown “Sugar” led the Buttheads with 13 points.

 

Woglom’s Warriors 42, Glazed Donuts 36: Down 42-30 going into Monday night, Brandon Jacobs scored a TD early in the game, but could not find the end zone the rest of the night and the Warriors held on to slice the Donuts. Tony “Pinkie” Romo led the Glazed with 12 points, while the Woglom’s got 12 points from Drew “Cool” Brees, Maurice “Fred Who” Jones-Drew,

And Nate “Don’t Hate” Kaeding.

 

Ned the Dog 34, Geeks on Call 32 OT:  Down 24-18 going into Monday night, Braylon Edwards scored a TD to put the game into overtime and Andre Johnson and Jason Hanson outscored Robbie Gould to help the Dogs take a bite out of the Geeks. Matt Schaub led the Ned with 10 points. Pat is 1-1 this year in overtime and 6-4 lifetime. Ned now has a career 4-2 overtime record.

 

Hooters 36, Flounders 29:  Reggie Bush “Beans” scored 12 points for the third time in four weeks to help the Big Breasts flatten the Flounders for their fifth straight victory. “Bubba” Clinton Portis led the Fish with 12 points.

 

Benchwarmers 42, Hoochie Mommy 17: The Indianapolis Colts finally woke up and Peyton “Im a kinda hatin” Manning and Marvin “Scoring Starvin” Harrison combined for 24 points to help the Bench Jockeys abuse the Coochie’s to snap a three game losing streak. The Commish now has a lifetime 9-2 record against Ms. Foley.
