In case
you have forgotten, the Smitty Fantasy Football Web Page is located at www.geocities.com/dsmith3721. I
will continue to put the lineups and results there. Here are the highlights
from Week 1:
Headbutts 29,
Hooters 11: “Life of” Brian
Westbrook scored 12 points to help the Headbutts squeeze the Hooters to win
their third straight opening Week 1 game. The Hooters did have 24 points on
their bench.
Flounders 46, Glazed Donuts 42:
Down 42-32 going into Monday night, the Green “Day” Packers defense scored 6
points and then Jay Cutler sliced in another 8 points to help the Flounders
stun the Dog nuts, as every Flounder player scored. Fifth-round pick “Wet” Willie Parker led the
Donuts and the league with 18 points.
Woglom’s Warriors 26,
Hoochie Mommy 15:
The Not-to-be-waived this year Drew “Cool” Brees scored 12
points and the #1 drafted defense Chicago “Care” Bears added another eight
points to help the Warriors continue their dominance over the Biddison family
(4-0 lifetime record).
Hell’s Angelas 48, Geeks on
Call 23: The risky Donovan “No more Chunky Soup
commercials” McNabb scored 12 points and everyone but the Colts defense scored
for the Angels to help them humiliate the Geeks and get the first weekly pot.
Ned the Dog 36, Benchwarmers
26: Michael
Turner “& Hooch” scored 12 points and Hines “Mental” Ward added another 12
points to help Ned FINALLY beat the Scrubs in Week 1 and get a little revenge
from last year’s 1st round playoff loss.
