Week 12

 

      Despite losing, congratulations go out to Hell’s Angelas for clinching the first playoff spot of 2008. He is back in the playoffs after a two-year absence. Headbutts 43, Glazed Donuts 34: Both Eli “Big Guy” Manning and the Tampa “Old” Bay defense scored 12 points to help the Headbutts dunk the Donuts. The Dazed left 43 points on the bench, including 12 points by “Big Dance” Lance Moore. The two teams split this year’s series.

 

Geeks on Call 38, Woglom’s Warriors 36: Down 38-20 going into Monday night, Drew “This is not new” Brees fell a little short and scored 16 points and the Greeks just hold on to defeat the Warriors and snap a seven game losing streak. The Nerds swept this year’s series and hold a career 3-0 record against his Boyett neighbor.

 

Ned the Dog 48, Hooters  22: Michael “After Burner” Turner scored 24 points and “Big” Ben Roethlisberger added another 10 points and Ned the Dog nipped the Nipples. The two teams split this year’s series.

 

Flounders 38, Hoochie Mommy 25: First round pick Randy “Peat” Moss finally came through and scored 18 points to help the Bait reel in the Smoochies to even both teams records at 6-6. Adam “Alfredo” Vinatiera led the Momma’s with 11 points. The two teams split this year’s series.

 

Benchwarmers 53, Hell’s Angelas 33: “Saint” Nick Folk scored 15 points and both Tim “Get Off the” Hightower and newcomer Matt “Hold the” Forte added 12 points and the Butt Splinters burned the Hell’s Bells. The loss snapped a career high seven game winning streak for Mr. Biddison.  Despite the lame record, the Commish won his third weekly pot.
