Lightning Strikes Twice
By Donna and Abs
Fisher, the Old One, was in the forest when the storm came. Like Coltec, he knew this was no ordinary atmospheric disturbance. But he knew why it was not! Naturally, he had a link to the storm, and all it meant, through his daughter Lavina.
He smiled as he eavesdropped on his daughter's fun. The electrical energy that she and Rayden were creating was broadcasting her desire on a wide band, and he could feel people start to respond. In fact, he was even responding himself, much to his surprise!
Normally, his "wife" was Edan herself. His daughters sprang from the land, the water, and the trees. But he was feeling incomplete tonight, even with her all around him. This had never happened before. Perhaps it was this human form that he had taken on? Frowning, he started to move away from the area that would be directly affected by the storm. But when he turned around, he saw he was not alone!
It was The Grand Banshee! She had felt something strange in the storm herself! "Hello, Fisher," she chuckled. "It's a wild night, isn't it?"
"That it is, Bannie. That it is. A strange night," he said, not mentioning his own feelings.
He didn't have to. Bannie had this annoying habit of knowing everything! She shook her head, smiling wryly. "You know what you remind me of, old friend? A teenage boy locked in a bathroom with a girlie magazine. You should know better than to eavesdrop on your daughter. Especially when she is with the god of thunder and lightning!"
"I was *not* eavesdropping!" he said in a huff. He hadn't the slightest idea what the girlie magazine comment meant. "I am tied to my daughters. You know that. What they feel, I feel. And it is certainly not the first time one of them was sexually aroused."
Bannie shook her head, smiling. He was getting worse by the moment. All of the combined sexual energy from Rayden and Lavina was flowing into him. "Fisher, how would you like to go on a little flight of your own?"
"Me? I don't do it that way!" he said. "And neither do you, usually."
She chuckled. "Who said anything about doing it that way? Though it might be fun as a change, don't you think?" she asked, looking into the darkness of the woods around her. "What do you think, girlfriend?" she called out.
Lightning flashed and out of it came a silvery shape. Fisher was stunned, for a moment, because he knew instinctively who it was. For months now, since the Solstice, he had been thinking of both Bannie and Min in a very strange way. And now here they both were, right when he, well, craved a little release!
"You need us, Fisher," Min said softly as she stepped out of the shadows to take his hand.
"Both of us," Bannie said as she took his other one.
He looked from one to the other. He had felt creative not very long ago - on the Fall Equinox! But this was different. This would be personal. Clasping both hands, he felt all three of them drawn up into the air - and into one of the storms that were being spawned off of the main one that Rayden and Lavina were in!
It was exhilarating. He could see why his daughter enjoyed doing it this way. As the wind howled around them, Bannie's black cape wound itself around all three of them, pulling them even closer together! As his essence combined with both the Banshee and the elf, two new and very unique beings were created.
There was a moment when a choice was made, whether to hold a child for a period of time, or to have one born immediately. Because of the strength of the beings involved, these "children" would be born fully grown.
Bannie was adamant. She wanted nothing to do with pregnancy or raising a baby! The Grand Banshee was more than content to let others do it. It was not something she wanted for herself. Min also chose this route - she had never thought Eve wise to go through the whole birthing process, when there was a choice.
As the storm around them completed it's maturing process, the updrafts that had drawn them high up into the night sky changed to downdrafts, sending the three lovers back firmly on the ground. There, as they composed themselves, they came face to face with the product - or products - of their creative energy!
The union of the Old One and the Grand Banshee had produced a very unique girl with chocolate colored skin like her mother, but with white hair like her father! Bannie smiled at her, and gave her the name Melody Rain. "She will be my little songbird," she said with a smile.
The other union had produced a wild male child. Pale of skin, and light on his feet, he also had silver hair, like both Fisher and Min! "His name is Mason," Min said with a bright smile. This name fit wonderfully with her mining elf history, but somehow this youngster did not look like he would be spending his time digging through solid rock!
The Old One took his two newest children by their hands, smiling proudly as the five of them melted back into the forest.
