Since he was in Pulaski Co., KY we might want to refer back to this info. I wish the record had stated whether he had children by first marriage. I have a record somewhere stating that either a Robert or William was back and forth in Whitley Co., KY visiting relatives and I haven't been able to find the record. The group of Andersons in Bedford Co., TN were also from Rockbridge Co., VA. I'll send that info when I come to it. Abstracts of Rev. Pension Files Robert Anderson, Nancy, W2579, BLW #34821-160-55, NC & VA Line, appl 15 Apr 1833 Pulaski Co., KY aged 70, lived Rockbridge Cty VA at enlistment, b. 25 Mar 1763 York Cty PA then moved to Rockbridge Cty VA then to Washington Cty now Washington Cty TN 4 or 5 years then to Green Cty TN 15 yrs then to Pulaski Cty KY for past 17 yrs, sol d 2 Aug 1844, sol m latter part of 1814 of (sic) first of 1815 to Nancy wid of John Brown who she m in 1789 & who d in 1811, wid's maiden name was Nancy Ping & she had several children by 1st husband but none are named, a daughter is referred to in 1853, a Robert & Lewis Ping are referred to. |
