| This is a map of the area where Rebecca Blakely Anderson was living in 1870. Jeremiah Anderson also lived in this area while he was in Whitley Co., KY. The area is located between roads 1064 and 779. When John Anderson moved into the Whitley Co., KY area he lived on Clear Fork of the Cumberland. Whitley Co., KY has two areas by this name. One is in the area between Pleasant View and Emlyn the other is south of there in the area of Saxton. I believe John Anderson (b. 1758) lived in the area between Emlyn and Pleasant View because he purchased the land from Robert Bird who lived in the Pleasant View area and the land was part of the Isaac Davis original grant. |
