My ancestor Jacob Anderson was most likely born in the Delaware River Valley of New Jersey.  He had a brother John who came to
Grayson County, VA with him by 1777.  Jacob is listed on the Capt. Enoch Osborne list of militia for Montgomery Co, VA in 1777.  As you know
Grayson was part of Montgomery Co. in 1777.  John settled near Troutdale, VA and Jacob had lands on Middle Fox Creek in the Flatridge area
of Grayson.
Jacob had two daughters, Rebecca who married John Hash and Nancy Anderson who married William Hash, Jr.  He also had a son John b.
Oct 1794 in Grayson and died in 1875.  I am descended from both John son of Jacob and Rebecca Anderson Hash.  John Anderson son of
Jacob married Feraby Cornett, daughter of David Cornett 1750-1847 another Revolutionary Patriot.  John Anderson brother of Jacob was
married to a Mary.
There was also a Peter Anderson in the area but we're not sure if he was a brother or cousin of John and Jacob.  I think there was also a
James Anderson, but we're not sure of his relationship either.
If you need more information let me know.

Clinton W. Getzinger

Dear Patrick:

Currently, I am putting together a book on the descendants of Jacob Anderson. Most likely, you have seen the book forms produced by the 6.0
version of Family Tree Maker. This is what I am using for my book. I hope to have it ready by next summer. Our annual Anderson/Cornett
Family Reunion is held every second Saturday of August in Grayson County, VA.

Thank you again for including my information about Jacob on your website.

Sincerely,

Clinton

             Hi CK

Saw your reply to Sheila and wanted to let you know I have a land transfer dated May 10, 1817 and witnessed by Ezekiel Sullivan.  It's
signed in his handwriting. Will be happy to send you a copy.  Evidently my Wallen family lived near your Sullivans in Hawkins/Hancock
County, TN and Grayson/Montgomery County, VA.

I also descend from John Hash and Rebecca Anderson through their daughter Jane who married Enoch Osborne.  I don't have much other
than my direct line but would like to exchange info with you, if you're interested.
