Building the Chalice top Section
Here are the parts needed to make the top of the Dornes L to R 1-1 1/4" pvc cupler 1-1 1/4" electrical cupler 1- 1 1/4" X 1/2 "  pvc bushing 1- 3/4" electrical cupler 1 1/2" cpvc cap and 1 section of 3/4" electrical conduit not shown you will need to build 3 of these.
The chalice top is the moast comlicated part to build. It is built from five layers of pvc.  The first parts you will need are a  1 1/4" X 1/2" bushing and a 3/4" section  cut from a 1 1/4" cupler sand to fit and glue in place
The next part is a section of a 3/4" cupler X 11/16" glue inside of the bushing and set aside to dry
After sanding your chalice top it should look like this.
The Resonator chamber is then ruff sanded to a bell shape leaving a  !/2" at the bottom for the tube to fit into. The final sanding will be done after the next part is finnished and guled on.
Next you will need 1  12" X 1/2" pvc I use conduit
and 1  1/2" copler cut a piece of  cupler 1/2" long and glue on your pipe !/2" down This is the start of your cord tye in. I will cut the tube to length after the top is glued on
The top id of the conduit is sanded to the shape of the bottom of the bell of the resonator. At this point it's best to finnish the cord rings with out the top on it makes the sandind a lot easier.
