| Tiffany�s POV It was now Saturday. I was so tired from yesterday. How can you get tired from being bored? I dunno, but I did. Matt was kinda um� evil? It was like an awful blind date. He was pretty quiet, but when he did talk, he was funny. I think his mind was somewhere else like mine�s. I got up at about 11 o� clock, but I was still tired. I had barely been able to drag myself downstairs when the phone rang. It rang about three times, when I realized no one was going to get it. �Hello?� I answered groggily. �Tiff� it�s�� �Hi Maria,� I said as I yawned. �Did you have fun yesterday?� �Uh� do I have to answer truthfully?� �Yes� no� yes.� �NO. Matt�s EVIL! He was so quiet. Why did I have to sit next to him? The only good part about it was that he was funny.� �I guess you don�t want to meet up with them at lunch then? Jesse called me a few minutes ago.� �No, I don�t want to go out with Matt again.� �Please come� I already said you would.� �NO! I don�t want to�� �Do it for me� so that me and Jesse can hook up�� �NO�� �Please,� she pleaded. �Fine� but that�s two times you OWE me,� I reminded her. �I know, I know� Thank you! We�re meeting at 1 so get ready.� Just great, I got set up on yet another blind date. This time I didn�t get a choice. Maria�s POV The phone woke me up this morning. When I heard the person say who he was I fell out of bed. Literally. I had begged Tiff to go with me to meet him and Matt at Red Robin. She wasn�t going to give in this time though. Was Matt really that bad? I was going through my closet, looking for something cute. Something that looked well� I dunno, cute. I was thinking about wear that black tank top I had. I frantically searched for it. Then I remembered that I had borrowed it from Tiffany. Jesse�s POV I called up Matt. His brother David answered, and then Matt came on the line. �Hey Jesse.� �How�d ya like yesterday?� �The whole sticking me with some girl I didn�t know? Um� it was boring.� �So you didn�t have fun?� �Jester, she was alright� but yeah, I think I still really care about Samantha. She did dump me for Josh a few days ago�� �Exactly the reason why you should get out more. Get your mind off her and just check out other girls.� �And what do you have in mind Jess?� �We go to lunch at Red Robin. We�re gonna meet up with the rest of the guys later,� I said fast. �Uh� ok. I�ll pick you up in a few.� �Bye.� At the mall� �Wait, tell me again why we didn�t just eat lunch with the guys?� �Chris is meeting up with his girlfriend, Ashley. Frankie and Greg didn�t want to have lunch anyways.� �Okay, then let�s go in already.� �Can�t,� I said looking away. �Why not?� Matt asked. �Cause� cause� hey look its Maria and her friend Tiffany,� I said starting to walk away. �Jester, did you forget to tell me something?� Matt said angrily. I�m pretty sure he looked pissed. Maria�s POV We got to the mall after I dragged Tiffany out of her house, to the car, out of the car, and into the mall. �I don�t want to be here,� she complained. �It�ll be fine� Look there they are now.� Jesse came up to us and Matt was after him. Jesse and me just walked into the restaurant. Tiffany and Matt were standing near each other. They�ll get used to this, right? We sat down, Tiffany and Matt, and me and Jesse. We ordered, and things were pretty quiet. �So what grade are you in Matt?� I asked trying to get Tiff to talk to him. �11th, and you?� he asked in a boring tone. �I�m a freshman.� �You�re a junior?� Tiffany asked. �Yeah, why?� �In my opinion, you don�t really look like a junior.� �And what grade would you be in� 7th?� �No, I�m a freshman.� �Well, in my opinion, you look like a 7th grader.� I think that�s the longest conversation they�ve ever had. Thankfully the food came and everything seemed to be a bit better. Tiffany�s POV This is so boring. Matt�s so mean. I swear this is the last time I go out on a �date� with him. He�s not my type. He�s kind of guy who thinks they are all that plus more. After a few minutes, I excused myself to go to the bathroom. Maria came of course. In the bathroom� �Ah� Jesse�s so sweet!� Maria squealed. �Yeah, he�s pretty cool� ugh, the nerve of Matt. What a little�� �Tiff, he wasn�t serious. And he wouldn�t have said anything if you hadn�t had said about the whole he doesn�t look his age.� �I know, but still!� We touched up and chatted a little bit. �Where are we going after this?� I asked her. �I want to go shopping�� �Then we�ll go shopping,� she smiled. �Really? Yes!� |
