Rules and Regulations
DRAFT:
OVERVIEW:
DRAFT POSITIONS WILL BE DRAWN AT LEAST 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE DRAFT. THIS IS A SNAKE STYLE DRAFT WHERE EVERY EVEN NUMBERED ROUND GOES IN REVERSE ORDER OF THE ODD NUMBERED ROUNDS (ie: THE LAST TEAM TO PICK IN THE FIRST ROUND IS THE FIRST TEAM TO PICK IN THE SECOND ROUND). DRAFT WILL CONSIST OF 22 ROUNDS. DRAFT DAY WILL BE SUNDAY AUGUST 24TH . DRAFTING CAN BE DONE ONLINE OR IN PERSON. THE ONLINE METHOD WILL BE ESTABLISHED PRIOR TO DRAFT DAY. ALL ONLINE DRAFTERS SHOULD PLAN TO BE ONLINE AND IN THE DESIGNATED AREA ½ HOUR EARLY. DRAFT TIME IS TENTATIVE AT THIS POINT AT 11:00 AM CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Each team must draft 2 defenses.
- Each team must draft 2 kickers.
- Players drafted don’t have to be a active player on any NFL team.
- Rounds 1 thru 10 will be limited to 1 min. per pick.
- Remaining rounds will be limited to 90 seconds.
- If any team decides to leave before the draft is complete will have 24 hours to fill their roster with players left after the draft is completed. Failure to do so will result in these roster spots remaining unfilled.
- Team owners logging into the draft chat room should log in as their team name.
- Any team who does not show up for the draft during its duration will be eliminated from competition, the league re-aligned to compensated for fewer teams, and the entry fee and pickup credit added to the prize pool. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
- Any team arriving to the draft after it has already started will be permitted to join back into the draft at the position of their next pick, but missed picks must be made up after the draft concludes from players not chosen during the draft.
- If a player fails to pick in the allowed time for the round, the next team will

ANY UNDRAFTED PLAYER, TEAM DEFENSE OR KICKER CAN BE PICKED UP FOR A $5.00 FEE. EACH PLAYER WILL START THE YEAR WITH A $10.00 CREDIT FOR PICKUPS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CREDIT AVAILABLE FOR ANY PICKUPS YOU MAY WISH TO DO DURING THE YEAR.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- FREE AGENCY PICKUPS ARE LIMITED TO 8 PER TEAM
- THE $5.00 FEE FOR THE PLAYER MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO A PICKUP BEING REQUESTED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE CREDIT AVAILABLE FOR THE PLAYER, DON’T TRY TO PICK THEM UP( OR IF YOU DO TRY, DON’T BE MAD IF I PICK THEM UP FIRST BECAUSE I HAVE THE CREDIT IN THE ACCOUNT)
- PICKUPS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
- PICKUP REQUESTS WITHOUT A NAMED PLAYER TO BE DROPPED WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID AND IGNORED.
- YOU CANNOT SET A FREE AGENT IN YOUR LINEUP FOR 48 HOURS.
- IF THE 48 HOURS HAS NOT PASSED BY THE DEADLINE FOR COMPLETE LINEUPS BEING DUE, YOU CANNOT START A FREE AGENT EVEN IF HE PLAYS MONDAY NIGHT AND THE 48 HOURS WILL BE PASSED BY THEN.
- YOU CANNOT DROP A PLAYER ON YOUR ACTIVE ROSTER IF ALL THE GAMES FOR THAT WEEK HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED. THAT INCLUDES MONDAY NIGHT.
- FREE AGENCY MONEY WILL BE ADDED DIRECTLY TO THE PRIZE POOL.
- FREE AGENT PICKUPS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE EARLIEST TIME POSSIBLE TO THE LEAGUE. BUT IT MAY NOT BE INSTANTANEOUS. BE AWARE THE PLAYER MAY ALREADY BE TAKEN AND THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE PROCESS OF BEING MADE.
FREE AGENCY PCIKUPS MADE BY THE COMMISIONER ARE THE ONLY PICKUPS NOT CONSIDERED VALID UNTIL ANNOUNCED.
LINEUPS:
OVERVIEW:
EACH WEEK EACH TEAM SETS A STARTING LINEUP FOR THE WEEK. THE PLAYERS IN THE STARTING LINEUP ARE THE ONLY PLAYERS TO COMPRISE THE TEAMS SCORE. OTHER PLAYERS ON ROSTER NOT PART OF THE STARTING LINEUP WILL BE CONSIDERED BACKUP PLAYERS AND THEIR SCORES WILL NEITHER COUNT NOR BE CALCULATED AS PART OF THE TEAM SCORE.
WEEKLY LINEUPS WILL CONSIST OF :
1 Quarter Back
3 Runningbacks
3 Recievers
1 Kicker
1 Defense
1 Bonus ( any position)

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- COMPLETE TEAM LINEUPS MUST BE SET AT LEAST 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE KICKOFF OF THE EARLIEST GAMES ON SUNDAY.
- WEEKLY LINEUPS WILL REMAIN ACTIVE UNTIL THEY ARE CHANGED
- ALL EMAILED LINEUPS WILL RECEIVE A REPLY AS SOON AS IT IS RECEIVED AND READ TO LET YOU KNOW IT WAS RECEIVED. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY, YOU CAN ASSUME IT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED.
- ANY TEAM NOT SETTING AN ACTIVE LINEUP, OR FAILING TO DO SO ON TIME WILL START THE ACTIVE LINEUP REGARDLESS OF BYES OR INJURIES. IF YOU WISH TO KEEP THE ACTIVE LINEUP AS YOUR ACTIVE LINEUP FOR THE CURRENT WEEK, YOU STILL MUST CALL OR EMAIL THIS OR IT WILL BE CONSIDERED NOT SETTING YOUR LINEUP.
- EACH TIME A LINEUP IS NOT SET OR SET ON TIME, THE TEAM WILL BE PENALIZED $5.00 FROM THEIR POTENTIAL WINNINGS OR DOCKED $5.00 FROM THEIR PICKUP CREDIT. THIS WILL BE ADDED TO THE PRIZE POOL BUT THE TEAM DOCKED WILL NOT RECEIVE A PERCENTAGE OF THIS PRIZE SHOULD THEY WIN A PERCENTAGE OF THE POT BY YEARS END. THE PORTION OF THE DOCK FEE THEY WOULD HAVE WON WILL BE EQUALLY DIVIDED AMONGST THE QUALIFYING PERCENTAGE WINNERS.
- WHEN THERE ARE GAMES OTHER THAN SUNDAY/MONDAY (SPECIAL EVENT GAMES), PARTIAL LINEUPS FOR PLAYERS PARTICIPATING IN THE SPECIAL GAMES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- PARTIAL LINEUPS FOR SPECIAL EVENT GAMES MUST BE SET AT LEAST 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THE FIRST GAME OF THAT DAY. ( ie IF THERE ARE 2 THURSDAY GAMES SUCH AS THANKSGIVING, ALL YOUR THURSDAY PLAYER MUST BE SET 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE START OF THE FIRST THURSDAY GAME.)
- IF YOU SET A PARTIAL LINEUP FOR SPECIAL EVENT GAMES, YOUR COMPLETE LINEUP IS STILL DUE BY THE SUNDAY MORNING DEADLINE.
- IF YOUR ACTIVE ROSTER ON YOU PREVIOUS WEEKS ROSTER HAS PLAYERS IN SPECIAL EVENT GAMES, YOU MUST REMOVE THEM IF YOU DO NOT WISH THEM TO PLAY BY THE DEADLINE. (ie IF YOU HAVE A PLAYER IN THE LATE GAME ON THURSDAY AND HE IS ON YOUR ACTIVE ROSTER AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO START HIM FOR THAT WEEK, YOU MUST CALL AND REMOVE HIM AT LEAST 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE FIRST GAME ON THURSDAY, OR HE WILL REMAIN ACTIVE)
- NOT ADJUSTING YOUR LINEUP FOR SEPCIAL EVENT GAMES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED NOT SETTING YOUR ACTIVE LINEUP. ONLY FAILURE TO SET THE COMPLETE LINEUP ON SUNDAY WILL BE CONSIDERED A NON-CALL.
- ALL MONDAY PLAYERS MUST BE SET BY THE COMPLETE LINEUP TIME ON SUNDAY.

YARDAGE:
PASSING: 1 POINT FOR EVERY 30 YARDS THROWN WITH FIRST POINT AT 31 YARDS
RUSHING: 1 POINT FOR EVERY 15 YARDS RUSHING WITH FIRST POINT AT 16 YARDS
RECEIVING: 1 POINT FOR EVERY 15 YARDS RECEIVING WITH FIRST POINT AT 16 YARDS
SCORING PLAYS:
TOUCHDOWN EITHER RECEIVING OR RUSHING: 6 POINTS
TOUCHDOWN PASS THROWN: 3 POINTS
2 POINT CONVERSION RUSHING: 2 POINTS
2 POINT CONVERSION EITHER THROWN OR RECEIVING : 1 POINT
KICKING:
FIELD GOAL KICKED <40 YARDS: 3 POINTS
FIELD GOAL >=40 YARDS: 4 POINTS
FIELD GOAL >=50 YARDS 5 POINTS
DEFENSIVE SCORES:
DEFENSIVE TOUCHDOWN : 6 POINTS
DEFENSIVE FUMBLE RECOVERY OR INTERCEPTION: 2 POINTS
DEFENSIVE SAFETY : 2 POINTS
QUARTERBACK SACK: 1 POINT
FULL BACKS ARE CONSIDERED RUNNING BACKS AND TIGHT ENDS ARE CONSIDERED WIDE RECEIVERS. THE BONUS PLAYER CAN BE ANY POSITION. DEFENSES ARE TEAM DEFENSES AND KICKERS ARE ALSO TEAM KICKERS, NOT INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS. IF YOU DRAFT THE PHILADELPHIA KICKER AND THAT PLAYER GET TRADED TO DETROIT, YOU STILL HAVE THE PHILADELPHIA KICKER, NOT DETROIT’S NEW ONE. PLAYERS CAN SCORE IN ANY POSITION. (ie: IF YOUR RUNNINGBACK THROWS A HALFBACK PASS FOR A TOUCHDOWN HE WOULD SCORE AS IF HE WERE A QUARTERBACK FOR THE YARDAGE AND THE THOUCHDOWN THROW. IF YOUR QUARTERBACK RUNS A TOUCHDOWN IN THEN HE SCORES AS IF HE WERE A RUNNING BACK)
ALL SCORING DECREPENCIES WILL BE SETTLED BY THE COMMISIONER IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE LEAGUE. IN THE EVENT THE DISPUTE INVOLVES THE COMMISIONER’S TEAM, THE CO-COMMISIONER WILL SETTLE THE DISPUTE.
NFL.COM WILL BE THE OFFICAL STATS OF OUR LEAGUE. THE INFORMATION IN THE GAMEBOOK SECTION WILL BE USED FOR STAT COMPILING. THE PLAY BY PLAY SECTION CAN BE USED TO VERIFY DISPUTED ITEMS.
ALL DEFENSIVE STATS WILL BE FOR REGULAR DEFENSE, NOT SPECIAL TEAMS.
PLAYERS DO NOT SCORE YARDAGE OR TOUCHDOWN POINTS ON KICKOFFS OR PUNT RETURNS.
ALL GAMES ARE PLAYED IN HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUPS AND OVERALL RECORDS ARE KEPT ON A WIN/LOSS/TIE BASIS. THERE WILL BE TWO DIVISIONS. TIE BRAKERS ARE AS FOLLOWS FOR PLAYOFF CONSIDERATION:
- BEST HEAD TO HEAD
- BEST DIVISONAL RECORD
- POINT TOTAL SCORED
- COIN TOSS
PAYOUTS:
Payouts will be according to the overall prize pool after free agent pickups and any penalty fees have been added. The percentage payouts will be will be as follows:
- Fantasy Bowl Runner Up: 10%
- Division Champ: 15%
- Division Runner Up: 7.5%
- Highest Point Total: 15%
- Second Point Total: 5%
ALL PRIZES WILL BE PAID TO THE TEAM OWNER AFTER THE FANTASY BOWL.

TEAM FEES:
INITIAL TEAM FEES ARE $70.00. OF THIS , $60.00 WILL COVER THE TEAM COST AND GO DIRECTLY INTO THE PRIZE POOL. THE OTHER $10.00 WILL BE FOR PICKUPS OR PENALTIES. IF A PENALTY IS LEVIED, THE MONEY WILL BE ADDED TO THE PRIZE POOL. THERE WILL BE NO ADMINISTRATION FEES OR COSTS DEDUCTED FROM THE POOL. (I WILL PAY FOR MY TEAM JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. NO DEDUCTIONS FROM THE PRIZE POOL WILL BE MADE FOR ANY REASON.
STATS AND WEEKLY UPDATES:
WEEKLY STATS SHEETS AND SCORING UPDATES WILL BE POSTED ON THE TEAM WEB PAGE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, LET ME KNOW AND WE CAN WORK OUT ARRAINGEMENTS TO MAKE SURE YOU REMAIN INFORMED VIA FAX OR MAIL.
THESE RULES MAY BE AMMENDED PRIOR TO DRAFT DAY TO CLARIFY POSSIBLE DISPUTED ITEMS.
