Jen woke Brittany, Cristina, and Megan up, and were ready for the day at 11:30, they had a quick breakfast (the cheesecake), then went into the guy's room. They went downstairs and met up with everyone else. They left for the beach. They arrived there a few minutes later. Chris-This should be cool, you know that while we're doing sound check and everything you can go backstage and chill with the other acts. Cristina-That's cool, but no nobody told us that. The guys looked at Jen. Jen-Ohh, yeah, I forgot to tell them, sorry. While the guys were doing sound check, the girls wondered around backstage and hung out with the other acts. After sound check was over the guys went backstage and got ready, then got the girls. The girls stayed to the side of the stage for the whole concert while they performed. After a few hours Dream Street went on stage and sang 'It Happens Every time,' the guys looked back at the girls every once in a while and sang to them but then turned their attention back to the audience. Megan-Aw, look at Chris, he looks so cute when he sings, and he's a really good dancer. Cristina-Look at Jesse..he looks so hott!! Brittany-What?! Cristina-What? Can't I talk about my boyfriend? Jen-Uhh, you said Jesse. Megan-Your going out with Jesse? Cristina-I thought I said Frankie. Megan-Okay? Cristina kept finding herself starring at Jesse. When Jesse spun around he looked over at Cristina and winked at her, she smiled. The concert ended more than 4 hours later at 9:00. everybody met up with eachother and headed back to the hotel. Bernie-You have another concert tomorrow at the beach again. Matt-What time? Bernie-Around 4 o'clock. Kevin-But meet up downstairs for breakfast on the second floor at around 10 o'clock. Greg-Aiight. Everyone went into their own rooms. The guys went into their rooms and changed into their bathing suits, then went into the girl's room. The girls were sitting in the TV room snacking on popcorn, talking. Cristina-I can't believe I'm going out with Frankie, I've just been feeling lucky ever since me and him have been going out Jen-Please take it slow, you don't want this to end up how all of your other relationships went, do you? Cristina-No, but I really really like Frankie. Megan-It doesn't matter, I don't want to see you hurt again. Brittany-Yeah, last time it got way out of hand. Cristina-I shouldn't have told John I met someone on vacation, he just lost it. Megan-That's exactly why you don't say 'I love you' during your first week of going out with someone! Cristina-Maybe Frankie won't be like John and all the others, he would never get abusive, I'm learning from my mistakes. Brittany-Please, try to not make another one! You've already went through enough. Cristina-Okay, thanks for always being there for me. Megan-That's what we're here for, so Jen tell us about Greg. Jen-Greg is a really good-- Greg-What are you saying about me? Jen-Nothing. Greg-You said I'm a really good...What am I really good at? Jen-Your not gonna find out. Greg-I could be a really good dancer, or a really good singer, or a really good kisser, or a really good boyfriend, or a really good- Brittany-We get your point. What do you want that your in here? Greg-Oh yeah, do you guys wanna go up to the Pent House and chill in the pool? The girls agreed, the changed into their bathing suits while the guys waited for them in the TV room while they ate the popcorn that the girls didn't finish before. When the girls finished changing everyone went up to the Pent House. They got towels from the lady behind a desk. Everyone went into the pool, except Frankie and Cristina. They went in the hot tub and sat across from eachother. They were silent for a few minutes. Then Frankie broke the silence. Frankie-Is there something wrong? Cristina-No. Why would anything be wrong? Frankie-Well, lately you seem kind of distant. Cristina-How? Frankie-The plane ride here, you and Jesse talked for most of the ride, you didn't even notice me until I came back from the bathroom, and- Cristina-I didn't wanna leave Jesse out. Frankie-He could've brought someone. Cristina-But he didn't. Frankie-Yeah, your right. Cristina-Sorry, what was the other thing you were gonna say before I cut you off? Frankie-Well, we're not even sitting next to eachother now. Cristina slid over to where Frankie was sitting. Cristina-We are now. Frankie- Are you not into me anymore or something? Cristina-Why do you keep asking me all these questions? Frankie-Cause when your in a relationship with someone it's good to know that they feel the same way you do. And because you don't talk to me anymore, and you only sat next to me 'cause I mentioned it. Cristina-I really like you. I'm not gonna get sick of you after a few days. I love every minute with you. Frankie-Really? Cristina-Really. They cuddled while Frankie thought about his relationship with Cristina. Was she keeping something from him? In the pool Chris and Megan were sitting on the edge of the pool talking with Jesse, who was floating in a tube by them with his legs stretched over the edge of the pool so he wouldn't float away. Jen and Greg were making out on the stairs to get into the pool. Matt and Brittany were diving off the diving board. Frankie and Cristina were still quiet. Cristina-Soo, you have a concert tomorrow, right? Frankie-Yeah, at four o'clock. Cristina-Cool, is it gonna be on the beach again? Frankie-Yeah, and you can be in the audience this time, front row. Cristina-Okay cool, I can talk to your fans, and don't worry I'll act like a fan and sing along to all your songs. Frankie (while laughing)-Aiight, just don't bring up the girlfriend subject. I hate lieing to our fans but if they ask about that just say no. Cristina-Okay. Frankie-You don't know the words to sing along to our songs do you? Cristina (while laughing)-No, but that doesn't mean I can't act like I know what your singing about. Frankie(while laughing)-I didn't think you did, cheer for me instead. Cristina nodded her head. Frankie leaded in and kissed her... ~~~~~~~~~~ The lady from the towel desk kept yelling at Greg and Jen. Lady-Little kids could walk in here and find two teenagers all over eachother. Greg-Chill out! No one else is in here! Lady-Do you want me to call sercurity!? Greg-So they can kick us out of the pool because my girl and I are kissing? The lady nodded her head. Jen-We're sorry. Greg-No, I'm not sorry, and they can't do that! Jen-Greg, we'll just stop, it's no big deal! Lady-Yeah, listen to your prep ass girlfriend. Jen-Listen Mr.- Lady-I'm not a man. Jen-Well, you look it, but anyway. I can get your ass fired! I apologized, and we stopped so sit your ass down at that desk and wait for those little kids that you were talking about before to magically appear through those doors at almost 11 at night. The lady turned around and sat back at her desk. Greg-That was awesome! Jen-Well I am a really good-- Greg-A really good what? Jen-Lifesaver. Another hour passed and the Pent House was closing. They went back to their rooms and went to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~In The Morning~~~~~~~~~~ The girls got ready to meet the guys in their room. It was a little bit before 10 when they went next door. Jen-Hey guys. Jesse-Good morning ladies. Matt-Are you ready to leave? Brittany-Yup. They left the room and went downstairs for breakfast. They sat at two separate tables (the guys and girls at one table and everyone else at another table). They got their breakfast. Megan-Oh my gosh! We have to leave here in 2 days! Greg-It went by too fast. Cristina-Yeah, but what are we gonna do when school starts? Chris-We'll all hangout on weekends. Matt-When we don't have any rehearsals or concerts. Brittany- this is gonna be hard, isn't it? Frankie-Kinda, but it'll work out. Jen-Good. Matt-Cristina, you know what your shirt looks like, right? Cristina-No, what does it look like? Matt-A tarzan shirt, cause it has the sling thing. You know? Everyone started laughing. Frankie-You know, your Matt, your not as smart as you seem to be. Matt-What? I think thats what it looks like. They continued eating, they finished before eleven o'clock. They decided to do some shopping outside of their hotel. A few hours later they came back to the hotel. Jesse-I think girls shop too much. Megan-Come on, you know you had fun. Chris-Yeah, we had fun watching you guys try on outfits. They went back to their rooms so the girls could put away all the clothes they bought. The girls also changed into their bathing suits then put their clothes on over it. It was a little past three, they had to go to the beach so the guys could go over some dance steps and go over their music one last time before they went on stage. They left the hotel and met Bernie and Kevin backstage at the beach. The girls wished the guys good luck. Megan took a picture of Cristina giving Frankie a kiss on the cheek. Megan-Sorry, I couldn't resist. The girls walked around since their seats were reserved. About 15 minutes before the concert started, they went back to their seats. They talked with the fans around them. Brittany-Cristina look at that girl she has the same shirt as you. Brittany pointed to a girl in the same row as them a few seats away. They were both wearing a white one sleeve shirt. Cristina-Yeahh. A few minutes later 3rd Faze came on stage and sang a few songs. A half hour later Dream Street stepped on stage. The first song they sang was "Let's Get Funky Tonight." More than an hour later... A few songs away from the end of the concert Frankie was about to sing his solo 'Dream On.' For the song he had to pick a girl form the audience and bring her on stage to sing to her. frankie-This next song is called Dream On. Does anyone wanna come up here? All the fans started screaming and raising their hands. Frankie-Ummm, how bout the girl in the front row (he looked at Cristina) with the white 'Tarzan' shirt. He started laughing and so did Cristina. The girl with the same shirt as her screamed and ran up on stage. Frankie looked at Cristina. Cristina shrugged then smiled. The music started and Frankie started singing to the girl. At the end of the song Frankie gave the girl a hug. Girl-Frankie, not to be too forward or anything, but can I get a kiss? Frankie-Sure. He was about to give the girl a kiss on the cheek but she kissed him on the lips and they started making out on stage. Frankie kind of just stood there in shock. Cristina couldn't stand the sight of Frankie kissing another girl so she started walking away from the concert area. Brittany-Cristina.. The girls followed Cristina. A few seconds after Frankie pulled away he looked in the audience for the girls to find their seats empty. He scanned the crowd to find them. He found Cristina walking up to the boardwalk while Jen, Brittany, and Megan were trying to catch up with her. Frankie jumped off the stage and started running after them. The rest of the guys followed Frankie, while the fans stood there in confusion. **Kevin and Bernie ended the concert** Cristina ran into the Girls Bathroom while Jen, Megan, and Brittany followed. Cristina ran into one of the stalls and started histerically crying. Brittany-Sorry people that are waiting for the bathroom but we have a crisis. She shut the door and locked it. They started knocking on the stall door. Jen-Your probably over reacting Cristina, he probably didn't know that girl was gonna kiss him. Cristina-I'm not overreacting because I saw him lean in and kiss her! Cristina opened the stall door and walked out. Cristina(while still crying)-I can't take this anymore. I'm gonna break up with him. Megan-Cristina don't! Cristina-Why shouldn't I? I've never cried so much over one guy before. I don't think I can take my boyfriend being in the music business. Jen-Calm down! You don't know the story yet! The girls sat around Cristina trying to make her stop crying. ~~~~~~~~~~ Frankie ran up the stairs to the boardwalk. He found a crowd of people around the bathroom. Frankie tapped a lady's shoulder that was in front of him. Frankie-Excuse me but did you see four girls run some place..one of them with a white shirt on with light brown straight hair with banges? Lady-Yeah, they're in the Girl's Bathroom. We're trying to get in there to see what's happening but they shut the door. Frankie-Okay, thanks. Frankie made his way up to the bathroom door. The rest of the guys caught up with him. Matt (still trying to catch his breath)-Frankie, what happened? Frankie-The girls are in the bathroom, and they locked themseleves in there. Jesse-Well, if I were Cristina I would've dumped you by now. Frankie-Thanks Jess, that helps a lot. Greg-Well, you were kissing another girl. Frankie-Tha girl kissed ME!! Chris-But what did you do to stop her? Frankie-*sighed* Nothing, absolutely nothing! I'm such an idiot! Matt knocked on the door. Frankie-Can you please open the door!? Cristina-Go away!! Frankie-Cristina, she kissed ME!! Cristina-well, you should've stopped her. Frankie-Just open the door and we can talk about it. There's a crowd of people here that are waiting to get to the bathroom! Cristina-Well, you can tell them to go to the other side of the beach and go to the bathroom. Lady from the crowd-KNOCK THE DOOR DOWN!!! Matt-Hey, that's a good idea. The guys lined up a few feet away from the door. Matt-On three, charge....1......2.....3!! They charged into the door but it didn't fall. Brittany-Cristina, maybe we should open the door before they hurt themselves. Cristina-It's a crappy woodent door, they'll get it down on the second try. Jesse-OKay, let's try again...1......2......3!! The guys charged but the door didn't open. Jen-Well, I guess they're not as strong as we thought they were. Megan-I'm gonna open the door, not all the guys deserve to suffer! Greg-Let's face it, the door won't go down and it's killing my arm. Frankie-Well, you guys can stop, but I'm knocking this thing down. Frankie charged at the door again. At the same time Megan opened the door, she stood infront of the door not realizing Frankie was running at it because she was looking at Chris. Frankie ran into Megan and fell on top of her. The crowd started laughing, the guys entered the bathroom Frankie (looked down at Megan)-Umm..sorry. Chris-Frankie! Get off my girl! Frankie got up and started walking slowly to Cristina, Jen, and Brittany. Jen-Come on Britt, we should leave these two alone. They both started walking over to where the guys and Megan. As Brittany was passing Frankie she said-Good Luck. Jen added-You'll need it. Frankie just starred at his girlfriend, who was sitting on the floor crying beacsue of him. Jen-Come on you guys, let's leave them alone. Jesse-No way! I've got to see this, we need a camera. This will be like a soap opera! Frankie kneeled down and looked at Cristina, he put his hand over her hand. Frankie-Let me explain. Cristina-No. Let me explain something to you. She got up and walked over to the sink and looked in the mirror, she took a paper towel and wiped her eyes. Frankie stood up and stood there looking at her reflection in the mirror. Cristina-Frankie, I understand that your in the music business, and sometimes I can't always be with you. But for the past few days that we've known eachother, we''ve seen eachother everyday. And everything has been great, but anyway, I know you have fans that adore you and want the same thing that as me, they want you, the guy that I'm lucky enough to have as my boyfriend. The girl from the concert started making out with you infront of hundreds of your fans, including me, you did nothing to stop her, you kinda just stood there. I was so hurt I didn't know what to do, I couldn't even think straight. Maybe you and I were moving too fast. I only knew you for a day or two before we started going out, and-- Frankie-The only reason why I asked you out so soon was because when I first met you I knew you were the girl for me. I wanted to be with you so bad, that dream we had must have meant something, I mean, we didn't even know eachother but then we have the same dream, about eachother, the same night and everything. Cristina-It could have been a coinsidence or something, but I don't think I can handle having a boyfriend in a band, and you have to admit, we have had a lot of fights. Frankie walked over to Cristina and out his hands on her hips. Frankie-But all the fights are nothing now, it made our relationship stronger, at least that's what I thought it did, and you even said it yourself. Cristina took Frankie's hands off of her hips and held them. She looked at him and he looked into her eyes. Cristina-Well, I was wrong, but I think I know what we can do to help. Frankie-What's that? I'll do anything. Cristina-Maybe we should stop seeing eachother. Frankie-I meant anything but that. Please, give me another chance! She looked away from Frankie. Frankie-Please! I don't want to beg, I know we've only been going out for a few days, but in these few days I've realized something. You mean so much to me, the thought of loosing you makes me sick, and the thought of you with someone else makes me want to die. I've never felt like this before, that's why all the fights were worth while, Cristina, I'm in love with you, I love you. Give us another chance! Cristina (looked at Frankie and frowned)-You don't love me, you barely know me. She let go of his hands and walked out the door, Jesse and Matt followed her. By now there wasn't a crowd around the bathroom. Matt-Cristina, wait! Cristina turned around. Jesse-You should listen to him. He means it. Cristina-Listen, I like Frankie a lot, but I can't deal with all this stuff. There are so many things happening right now, and I don't know if I'm ready for the relationship he wants. I'm going back to the hotel to finsih packing after that I'm going up to the Pent House. Thanks for everything you guys. She gave Matt and Jesse a hug, then started walking back to the hotel. Jesse and Matt looked back at where they just had their concert and the audience was gone and people were cleaning he stage. Jesse and Matt walked back into the bathroom. Jesse-Well, our concert is over, let's go to the beach and go swimming or whatever. Everyone started walking out of the bathroom except Frankie. Greg-Frankie, are you coming? Frankie-No, I don't think I can, knowing what I did to Cristina and that me and her aren't together anymore. Greg-I'll help you. Frankie-Thanks. Greg-Anytime. Aiight, do you have any suggestions to where she is right now? Frankie-Well, she isn't in here, she could be at the mall. Greg-Do you know how many malls are in Cali? Frankie-Yeah, yeah, your right. Well, she said that she wanted to visit her aunt that lives like ten minutes from here. Greg-Do you know the address? Frankie-No, but we can go to information and get a phone book and call her aunt. Frankie got up and walked with Greg to an information stand that was nearby. They arrived at the information stand and aproached the man behind the counter. Frankie-Excuse me, do you have a phone book? Man-Yes I do, I have 12, take your pick. He laid out the phone books. Frankie took the local phone book and opened the phone book. Greg-You do know the last name right? Frankie-Yeah. Frankie found the number and they called her on his cell phone. After a little conversation of who he was, they found out she wasn't there. ~~~~~~~~~~ Brittany, Jesse, Matt, Jen, Chris, and Megan approached the ocean. Brittany-Let's go in. Matt-With our clothes on? Jen-Well, Megan, Brittany, and I wore our bathing suit under our clothes. Jesse-Fine, I don't like these shorts anyway. Chris-But I like my shirt, I don't want to ruin it. Megan-Umm, Chris, you can kinda take off your shirt. Chris-True, true. Matt-Now all we need is towels. Did you any of you guys bring that? Everyone shook their head. Matt-Hmm.. He looked around and found a bunch of towels behind him. Matt-Heres some. Jen-Those aren't ours. Matt-Well no one is using them. Matt grabbed 6 towels. They started walking away to a spot where they were going to put their towels and clothes. They heard a lady in the background. Lady-GIVE US BACK OUR TOWELS!!! They all turned around to find a lady running up to them. Jesse-RUN!!!!!!!!!!!! The six of them started running. After a while they lost the lady. Matt-Finally, she's gone. Jen-Well, we wouldn't have been chased if you didn't take those towels. Brittany-Well, look on the bright side, now we're hot, and the cold water will feel better. They put the towels and their clothes on the sand and started walking into the ocean. ~~~~~~~~~~ Frankie and Greg were walking on the boarwalk looking for Cristina. Frankie-Maybe we should stop looking for her, for now anyway, I'll see her later. Greg-So you mean after walking around the beach and the boardwalk five times, you just wanna give up. Frankie-Well, I've been thinking and maybe it was a mistake to start going out so soon. Greg-Do you not want her back now or something? Frankie-Of course I want her back, she's the best thing that ever happened to me. Greg-Aiight, well, we'll just go back to the hotel, we'll chill in the hot tub or something. Frankie-Alright. The guys started walking back to the hotel. ~~~~~~~~~~ Cristina went to her hotel room, unlocked the door, then opened it. She walked into her room and walked into one of the bathrooms. She started puting her hair up in a pony tail. She walked out of the bathroom and looked at the door that opens to the guy's room. Cristina-Maybe he's in there. She opened the door and found that no one was in it. She walked into the guy's bedroom anyway. She went over to one of the beds and laid on it. Next to the bed was an end table, it had a phone on it with a schedule and a folded up note. She picked up the note and read what was on the front of it. It read "Cristina," in cursive letters. She opened it and read it. It was a song along with a one page letter. The song was called 'Finally,' it was about how he felt lucky to have found Cristina, that he never wants to loose her, and how he finally found the girl he has been waiting for. After she was done reading it she put it back where she found it and started walked out of their room and started walking into her room. She took her portable CD player and grabbed a CD she burned. She already had her bathing suit on so she walked out the door and walked to the elevator, she pushed the "PH" button (PH=Pent House). She went to the lady at the desk, she gave her a towel. Cristina walked into the Girl's locker room and put her stuff in a locker, then went in the hot tub, turned on her Cd Player, and closed her eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~ Brittany-The water is really cold. Matt-The ocean is always cold. Matt took her hand and they started walking into the water. Jen-Why aren't they going out yet? Jesse-Matt' the kind of person who waits like a month to ask a girl out. Chris-It's probably better that way, I mean look at the way Frankie and Cristina came out. Megan-But we started going out the same day they did. Chris-Well, Frankie doesn't know how to handle a relationship. ~~~~~~~~~~ Frankie and Greg went up to their hotel room. Greg opened the door and they walked inside. Frankie-I wonder if Cristina's in her room. Greg-Open that door that connects to her room. Frankie went over to the intersecting door and opened it. He walked into the girl's room and didn't see her. He went back into his room. Frankie-No one's there. Greg-Aiight, I'm gonna change into my bathing suit. Frankie-Same. They both changed in the two bathrooms. Greg wrote a note for Matt, Jesse, and Chris that they were in the hot tub. They left their room and went upstairs. They got their towels from the lady behind the desk and they went into the Men's Locker Room to put their stuff away. Greg-I'm going in the pool. Frankie-I'll be in the hot tub. They walked out of the locker room, no one else was there except someone in the hot tub. Greg jumped in the pool, while Frankie walked over to the hot tub. He couldn't see who else was in the hot tub because steam was rising from the heat of the hot tub. He got in, he sat across from the girl, Frankie lowered the temperature so there wouldn't be so much steam. As the steam faded away he saw the girl was Cristina. She had her head phones on and her eyes closed. She was lip saying something but he didn't know what. He just sat there and starred at her, just then he saw a tear roll down her face. Frankie wondered if she was thinking about what happened earlier that day. He decided to say something, but he didn't want her to leave yet so he put the temperature back up so that the steam would rise again. Frankie-What song are you listening to? She didn't answer for a minute. She opened her eyes and shut off her CD player, she started getting up to leave. Cristina-Drowning by the Backstreet Boys. She couldn't tell who she was talking to because of the steam, btu she thought the voice sounded familiar. Frankie-you like the Backstreet Boys? Cristina-No, and I know that song is getting old but I like the song 'cause my boyfriend sang it to me. Well, my ex-boyfriend. She started wrapping herself in her towel. Frankie sat there for a minute in silence. He broke the silence by singing the first verse as lowered the temperature of the hot tub. Cristina turned around, the steam faded away, and she saw the guy she was just talking to was Frankie. He sat in the hot tub turned to her. He was singing to her the song he sang for her at her house the day they started going out. All she could do was look in his eyes. At the end of the song he got out of the hot tub and got his towel and wrapped it around his waist, he walked over to Cristina who was watching Frankie. Frankie-Listen, the second i you told me that our relationship was over, I realized what an idiot I was for not trying to stop that girl from the concert, but everyone makes mistakes. I hate that we're not together anymore, you were more than my girlfriend, you were like one of my best friends. I feel like I'm loosing two of the things that are most important at the same time. I'm sorry about what happened at the concert, I really was gonna stop her but I didn't want to break a fan's heart by teling her I can't kiss her or that I didn't want to. Cristina-I'm sorry I didn't listen to your side of the story. I can't even describe the feeling I got when I saw you kissing her. I've just been through so much in relationships I didn't know what to do. Cristina took off her towel and placed it on the chair and sat down. Frankie did the same. Frankie-Whoah, what happened on the side of your hip? Cristina looked down. Cristina-Ohh, that's nothing. Frankie-It doesn't look like nothing to me. Frankie reached his hand to touch the bruise mark. Cristina pulled away. Frankie-What happened? Cristina-We're going off topic. Frankie-We can talk about that later, did someone hurt you? Cristina-I told you, I've been through a lot in relationships. Frankie-So one of your ex-boyfriends did this to you? Cristina looked at the ground and nodded her head. Frankie motioned Cristina to look up, he saw the pain in her eyes as tears started to run down her face. Frankie-Is that why you didn't believe me when I told you I love you, you thought I was gonna be like those other guys? Cristina nodded her head as more tears came rolling down her cheeks. Cristina-I didn't know you enough to believe you. It wasn't the first time one of my boyfriends said they loved me. Frankie-I'm sorry, I had no intention of me making you feel this way, I had no idea what you went through. You never told me, and still haven't told me the story. Cristina-I hate telling people what I've went through, it's embarassing, it makes me seem like a fool. Frankie-Don't feel embarassed, and your not even close to a fool, but maybe your right, maybe we did rush into things. .::Pause::. Frankie-Did you ever think that even though we just met and everything we do belong together? Cristina-Well---- Frankie-Wait, if your not gonna say no I don't want to hear it, but I want you to know, I love you, I mean it, since the say I met you I knew there was something about you. I'm not like your other ex-boyfriends, I would never want to hurt you, just watching you cry hurts me. So, if your not going to say what I wanna hear, then I'll leave. Cristina starred at Frankie for a few seconds, and noticed the suspense in his eyes. Cristina-You don't have to leave. Frankie had a smile on his face. Cristina started tearing again. Cristina-I will. Frankie's smile turned into a frown. He had his head in his hands. Cristina took her stuff and walked out of the Pent House. Greg got out of the pool and walked over to Frankie. Greg-I heard everything, well the end of the conversation, I'm sorry man. Frankie-I still don't understand. She isn't telling me something, and I'm not giving up until I know.
