Message from Author: Hi everyone. Well, as promised, here is chapter 4! We really hope you enjoyed chapter 3 but to help, here is chapter 4! Rachel and Morgan had just walked out of their hotel room, and waited by the elevators for Rachels parents. They had ordered breakfast in their rooms today, for who knows why (that means no special reason). Well, today we are going to the studio, said Morgan, pressing the down button on the elevator. Rachel nodded and said Yep. I still wonder who is that Mystery Band is? I hope its someone we like, replied Morgan. Finally at the last moment before the elevator door closed, Rachels parents came out of the room. Thanks for holding the door for us said her mom. No prob. Morgan said. Then they went to their ford excursion, hopped in and drove off. Can you turn the air down a little please; its a little cold said Rachel. OK, sure dear said her Mom. After 20 minutes, and dropping her mom off at work, they made it to the recording studio. They walked through the door and her Dad said Hi Pam. Thanks for taking the girls off my hands today. No problem. Im sure they will really enjoy it, replied Rachels Aunt Pam as her father walked out the door. Well, girls Ill give you a tour of the studio. Rachel! Look how much taller youve gotten since I saw you 4 years ago said her Aunt with a smile. Oh, who is your friend? Sorry but I forgot your name asked Pam. Im Morgan. Rachels best friend in the whole world said Morgan with a teasing smile at Rachel. Maybe not the whole world said Rachel. Anyway, lets go girls. Follow me, said her Aunt, motioning forward. After a 25-minute tour of both levels, the girls were walking down the last hallway, which Rachels Aunt didnt tell them what it was yet. Soon they heard a familiar song. I just dont understand. Cant the way I feel. Its crazy but its true. The girls stopped and looked at each other. They both thought the same thing. Oh cause when you touch my hand, I know this feelings real. Tell me are you feeling it to? I know youre scared, to show you care, just let me show you how. (Background: Show you how) Cant you see what you mean to me? Youre all I need right now. Rachel grabbed her Aunts arm and asked, Uh is theyre anyone in the recording room? Her Aunt smiled and said, Yes there is. Why? Um. We just wanted to know who it is, said Morgan uncertainly. Well, I forgot. Lets go see said her Aunt walking forward. She explained this group used this studio when they started, and they come back 3 times a week Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. But I think they have something getting fixed at the other one, so they will be here all week and most of next week. By that time, they had reached the door that said Practicing studio and Aunt Pam slowly opened it. She walked in, followed by Rachel and Morgan. They stopped dead in their tracks when they saw who was dancing. They heard the rest of the song playing and looked at each other in full surprise. I just want someone to hold me tonight! (Hoya) somebody whose holding me tighthowell wellI just want someone to hold me tonight! (Chris: ya ya) somebody loving me. Somebody holding me! (Other guys singing in background) oh ya! Somebody whos holding me tightsomebody loving mesomebody holding me! Oh ya! (All) I just want someone to hold me tonight. Dream Street was the ones who was practicing and using the studio! Rachel and Morgan couldnt believe it! As the song ended and the music stopped, Pam walked over to the director {sorry about thatI dont really feel like typing 100 names today} and said, Hi, are they doing a good job? We had one minor mistake today, but other than that theyre great replied the director. Then he pushed down a button and said, That was great. Take a 10-minute break guys. Dream Street opened a door from the dancing part where they were and walked out. But Rachels Aunt just kept talking this is my niece, Rachel. And this is her friend, Morgan. They are the ones that I told you that were coming to visit and I was going to show them around. When Chris and Jesse walked by them, they stopped and Chris asked havent we seen you before? Ya, we were at your concert last night. We were the ones whose tickets didnt work explained Morgan. Oh now I remember replied Chris. Jesse asked out of curiosity did you like our concert? We didnt like at all, said Rachel, folding her arms. What? Why? Both girls smiled and said, We loved it! All of them started laughing, and Chris and Jesse led them out the door. Matt, Greg, and Frankie were already in the break room when Chris, Morgan, Jesse, and Rachel walked in. Greg asked, Who are they? Chris replied, This is Miss Pams niece and her nieces best friend. Theyre also the girls we met last night, remember? Oh I remember, just wondering, said Greg. They are coming to the studio for the rest of the week, you know, to help out and stuff, said Jesse with a smile. While Dream Street was on their break, Chris and Jesse talked to the 2 girls asking them things and so on. 10 minutes later they were back in the recording studio singing Jesses solo, which was Gotta Get The Girl. After they were done singing it was 4:30. While Dream Street was finishing up for the day the girls cleaned up the studio for Rachels Aunt. Then Chris took everybody out to dinner. After dinner it was about 5:35 because it had taken a while to get to the restaurant that Jesse and Matt suggested. After they had got back to the studio, Rachels dad was already there waiting for them. Thank you Aunt Pam for letting us come here said Rachel. Yes thanks a lot, agreed Morgan. Rachel noticed her dad was waiting and she yelled, be there in a minute! Thanks for taking us out to dinner said Morgan, turning around to face Chris. Yes thanks a lot for everything, agreed Rachel, who both girls were talking to Dream Street. No problem anytime said Chris with a smile. See you tomorrow said Morgan and Rachel at the same time. Dont remind me said Jesse sarcastically. Dont mind him said Chris, rolling his eyes. I was just kidding, clam down, said Jesse also smiling. When the girls got in the car they told Rachels dad about how their day went. Well, you must be the luckiest girls in the U.S.A, commented her dad after they finished telling the story. When they told the story to Rachels Mom, she said it just like her dad did. The girls could barley wait for tomorrow. But there was something Rachel hadnt told Morgan. She remembered the seen trying to figure it out. *Flashback* on her way out the door to go with the others, the director stopped her and pulled her aside for a minute. Here, you might need this he said handing her a paper. Rachel gave him a confused look and asked, Why do I need this script of their songs and dance moves? Oh, youll probably find out soon he replied. She wondered why, but just folded the paper up and put it in her purse. On the 3rd day, Matt, Greg, and Frankie couldnt come {do we need a reason?}. So it was just Chris, Morgan, Jesse, and Rachel (and of course Rachels Aunt and everybody else). Then Morgan whispered something to Chris and he laughed and nodded. Then he turned to Rachel and asked Truth or Dare? Rachel thought that Chris didnt have anything for truth so she replied, Dare. OK then. Chris asked Do you have those papers that where given to you? Yes why? Asked Rachel. Did you look over them? I read them enough to memorize some of them, Rachel said. Then she asked why? OK. I want you to he looked at Morgan. Dance with Jesse to Hooked on you but you dont have to sing she finished with a teasing smile. W-w-what?! Jesse had just come through the door when Morgan finished and said, What kind of dare is that? Oh just a dare that I thought up this morning on our way here replied Morgan. Chris asked turning to both Jesse and Rachel are you going to do it? Well said Rachel looking at Jesse. I have no choice. I have to do it Rachel replied, very thankful she had looked at the papers. And I agree with her said Jesse, a bit nervous. Great said Chris. Oh and Rachel, Jesse will be in his place but you will be in Matts said Morgan laughing. Oh jeeze like this isnt bad enough, said Rachel, walking up to the door with Jesse. But since its just Jesse, Im NOT doing that last part she added. Dont worry, youll do fine said Jesse a bit soft but with an encouraging smile. Immediately Rachel brightened. Well, Ill try my best, replied Rachel, who wasnt so nervous any more. Soon the song began. She took her place, which was where Matt would stand. She glanced at Morgan, who was standing right next to Chris smiling. To make matters worse, her Aunt was watching too. Soon the music started, and she was so nervous, she could barely move, but soon enough, she was mouthing the words and dancing. Now Morgan and Chris were surprised at how good she was. But on Matts real solo part; they had to laugh because it was sort of funny to see a girl dancing to those exact moves. I have to admit she is good, said Chris, still watching. Ya she is. I guess 1 reason was because she has been taking all kinds of dancing lessons since she was 4 agreed Morgan. Chris asked surprised she has? Yep she still does too replied Morgan. But through the song, there were some parts Rachel couldnt do. After the music had stopped, and the director gave a sign that it was over, Rachel sighed. I hope I didnt embarrass myself, Rachel thought. As it seemed that Jesse could read minds, he walked up to her and put his hand on her shoulder. Dont worry, you were great. I never expected that you would be that good. If it wasnt for your long, brown hair, I could have almost mistaken you for Matt insured Jesse, smiling. Rachel looked surprised, and blushed at that comment Really? Of course replied Jesse, holding the door for her. We both agree then said Chris, walking over to them. You guys were great, agreed Morgan, following Chris. My goodness Rachel, I thought you quit dancing, remarked Miss Pam. But with that song, I can see that you havent said the director. Nope, not yet said Rachel, now happy. Boy, it seems like you enjoyed that dare, said Morgan. Are you kidding? I was so nervous I dont even see how I could have done that, said Rachel. But you still did great complimented Jesse. Thanks Jesse said Rachel, blushing (she isnt used to this much you are great stuff). Rachels Aunt called Hey Chris; can you come here and help us with something? Sure. Be right back said Chris, walking away. Ill be back in a minute too. I got to go get a drink, said Morgan, walking out the door. Say Jesse should we do the same thing they did to us? But a different song and they have to sing instead Rachel asked, looking at Jesse. Hmm good idea Rachel. I think we should, said Jesse thoughtfully. Rachel nodded and asked, Cool which song should we make them sing? I dont know. What do you think? You choose please. But nothing easy because dancing to Hooked on you isnt exactly a breeze replied Rachel. Jesse laughed and agreed, I thought you might mess up at the part Matts real solo. She laughed, So did I. Maybe it should be This time or Sugar Rush, just for a suggestion said Jesse after a minute. I was thinking the same thing I think This Time will be ok though, agreed Rachel. OK now weve got that straightened out, said Jesse looking around. Rachel asked puzzled now what can be taking those 2 so long? Who knows? Said Jesse sarcastically. About 7 minutes later, both Morgan and Chris finally showed back up. It took you long enough remarked Rachel teasingly. Sorry apologized Morgan half-heartedly. OK, OK, take it easy you 2 said Chris. Well, anyway said Jesse looking at Rachel. Rachel nodded and asked Truth or Dare, Chris? Hmm dare, replied Chris thoughtfully. Well it includes both of you so she looked at Jesse. We want you to sing to This Time, in the recording studio but we dont have to record, unless you want to finished Jesse. What! Not that groaned Morgan. Whats wrong Morgan, after all, you and me tied in the best singers in school since we were 12 replied Rachel with a teasing smile. Its not that its just she looked at Chris. All right, Ill do it she admitted. Morgan let they guys walk ahead and pulled Rachel aside and asked her "why do I have to sing with Chris"? "Cause you made me dance with Jesse to the hardest song" replied Rachel with no sympathy. "Well wish me good luck" said Morgan "Hmm... Na" replied Rachel. "What! Your rude" said Morgan. "Well you didn't say any thing when we danced" said Jesse taking Rachel side. "Thank you Jesse" Rachel said. "Well actually we did but it was Morgan she told me that you had been taking dancing lessons since she was 4" said Chris taking Morgan side. "Thank you Chris" said Morgan. "Ok we better stop before we start World War 3" said Morgan "Yeah you don't want to see Morgan and me get into a argument" said Rachel laughing. "But we don't argue often" said Morgan cautiously. Unless it is about who is better Chris or Jesse said Rachel teasingly. Thats true said Morgan. Chris and Jesse smiled. Chris walked over to the door and said Lets get this over with so I can prove I am a better singer than Jesse is. You wish said Jesse. Ok you guys stop be before we start World War 4 said Rachel. Chris helped Morgan get situated with everything then the music started. Then Morgan realized that she didnt ask Chris what parts she is supposed to sing! But she saw Chris nod at her, which meant go ahead. She started I never thought that I could miss... the touch of your hand or just 1 kiss. I was a fool to hurt you so... I had it all and didnt know. Chris and Morgan finished the rest of the song without a problem (thankfully). Chris smiled and held the door open for her Wow, you were great Morgan! We agree to say Jesse. Ya. Nice job you guys said Rachel smiling. Rachel Aunt asked Hey Jesse, what time is it? Its... 5:16 answered Jesse. No wonder Im hungry said Jesse. I agree with Jesse. All this work made me hungry since we skipped lunch said Rachel. Chris asked well, since we all agree, how about we go out to dinner? Fine with me said Morgan. You go ahead. I got work to do said Rachels aunt. Ill go get my keys. Meet you outside said Chris walking up to the door. And Ill go with him said Morgan following Chris out the door. Well meet you at your car Chris called Jesse before Chris and Morgan disappeared around the corner. Well, lets go said Rachel. Right. Follow me said Jesse leading the way to the back. Well, come on. This parking lot is big and the cars dont have much room so its a maze sometimes when its full warned Jesse. And I dont even know where he parked. This is great Jesse said looking around. Well guess we have to go searching... for a car said Rachel rolling her eyes. Its probably in the back. Come on because I dont want to stand her waiting for them said Jesse walking forward. 5 minutes later... finally here it is! Rachel sighed in relief thats good. I was starting to get worried we may not find it. Hang on, are you sure its his? Yep. Its his all right. His new sunglasses are on the dash said Jesse laughing. Rachel asked puzzled now where can Chris and Morgan be? Here we go again said Jesse. {Back inside the studio....} Chris asked confused now where in the world can my keys be? Morgan asked looking around Dont ask me. Are you sure you didnt put them somewhere else? Ya... at least I think so answered Chris uncertainly. Oh boy... this is gonna be great said Morgan. Very funny. The least you could do is help me said Chris searching under stuff. Sorry. But I am helping you answered Morgan with a hurt look. Chris sighed and said its ok. Im just a bit excited when this happens. Dont worry. I do that a lot. Mostly to Rachel said Morgan laughing. Thanks said Chris also laughing. Morgan asked pulling out a pair of keys under some papers Hey Chris, are these it? Yes! Thanks Morgan. Well, we better hurry or theyll get mad Im sure said Chris with a smile. Knowing Rachel, she probably is already tired of waiting for... said Morgan. 20 minutes! And knowing Jesse, hes probably really mad at me said Chris hurrying out the door with Morgan quickly following him. {Back in the parking lot...} Rachel said in a mad tone what can those 2 be doing? Its already been 20 minutes and Im starving. Im desperate enough to walk said Jesse also angry. Rachel was surprised. She looked at Jesse and said in public? Jesse nodded and said yes if they take any longer. When finally Chris and Morgan came running up to them, Rachel and Jesse said at the same time where were you? Sorry... we had to find my keys apologized Chris. Morgan didnt want to get into another argument and said Lets go ok? Rachel understood and said ya. Its ok if they were a late right Jesse? Ya sorry about that said Jesse. No problem. Lets go. Im starved said Chris getting in. Chris and Morgan were in the front while Jesse and Rachel were in the back. Morgan suggested How about you guys decide where we eat? Good idea Morgan said Chris not taking his eyes off the road. Ok replied Jesse looking at Rachel. Fine by me agreed Rachel. While Jesse and Rachel decided where to eat, Morgan and Chris just talked in the front. Hurry up Jesse, I dont know where to go said Chris. Rachel told him which 1 they had suggested then Jesse told him where to go. Rachel asked hey Chris, do you mind if I turn on the radio real quick? Sure, go ahead replied Chris looking at Rachel (they were at a stoplight). Morgan asked what station? You should know. And hurry replied Rachel. Oh I know said Morgan while turning it on. Surprising everyone, when Morgan turned it to the radio station (AM 990), it was at the end of the 1st verse of It happens Every Time! Told ya it happens every time said Rachel laughing. Your right said Morgan. When Rachel saw Jesse give her a confused look, she explained when she meant for the last 5 times in a row that Ive turned on the radio, it ends up being on the song It happens Every Time or I Say Yeah for some reason. Oh, I get it now said Jesse laughing. Thats pretty good Rach said Chris also laughing. Hey, lets call the other guys. For all I know Greg is torturing them at his house playing Pretty Pretty Princess game suggested Jesse with a smile. Ok, but Morgan or you will have to call because Im driving said Chris. Right. Say Morgan, hand me Chriss cell phone on the dash please said Jesse. Sure. Here ya go said Morgan handing it to Jesse. When Jesse was about to take it, Rachel whispered something to him and he smiled. Jesse said Well, hang on a sec Morgan. I dropped something in the seat and I need 2 hands to get it. Why dont you call Greg for me and Ill probably have it by then? Morgan sighed and looked at Chris who was smiling and Chris shook his head. All right. Whats his number? Look in my address book under G. Youll find it said Chris. While Morgan was looking in Chriss address book, Jesse said and you cant ask him to call the other guys either. Morgan started to dial it and she looked back at Jesse and Rachel what is it with you guys? Just having a little fun thats all replied Rachel. Morgan glared at Rachel as if saying Ill get you for this. Hey Greg. Its me Morgan, you know, Miss Pams nieces friend? Ya were all in Chriss car and we wanted to know if you wanted to meet us a restaurant for dinner? Ok. Sure said Morgan talking to Greg on Chriss cell. While she told Greg where they were going, Rachel suddenly thought of something since I thought of that, shell probably tell me to call Frankie. I better.... Soon Morgan hung up the phone. And before Morgan could say anything, Rachel suggested Ill call Matt for ya. Thanks Rach. Ill call Frankie when your done said Jesse. Ok say Rachel taking the phone from Morgan and smiling. Morgan also handed her the address book. Thanks replied Rachel. She dialed the phone number and waited for someone to pick up. Hey Matt. This is Miss Pams niece Rachel remember? Are you busy? Thats good. Well, Im with Chris and Jesse and were on our way to a restaurant and we were wondering if you wanted to join us? Ok. Gregs on his way so you can call him and tell him to pick you up. Sure. All right see ya there. Bye Matt said Rachel watching Jesse. She handed Jesse the phone. Here Morgan said Rachel handing her the address book. Hey ya Frankie. Gotta make this short. Were on our way to dinner and we wanted to know if you can come? Ok. Call Greg and tell him. See ya there said Jesse hanging up the phone. Well, there all coming said Jesse handing Morgan the phone. Good replied Chris turning into the parking lot where they had suggested. Well, lets go and hope there is no wait said Morgan getting out after Chris parked. The 4 of them walked inside and saw there was barely a line. But the waitress said sorry, but there is a 10-minute wait. Its not bad though and it goes real quick. Whats your name? Lets do yours incase anybody else is here said Chris quietly to Morgan. Right she said quietly to Chris. After all that was done, they sat down and waited for the others to come and for their table to be ready. About 7 minutes later... your table is ready. Please follow me said the waitress. She led them to the booth and Jesse and Rachel went on 1 side and Chris and Morgan went on the other. Ill have a Coke said Chris when the waitress asked what they wanted to drink while they waited. Same as him replied Morgan. Ill have a sprite said Jesse. And Ill have a sprite to said Rachel. About 5 minutes later the waitress returned with their drinks and a couple minutes after that Greg, Matt and Frankie finally showed up. Sorry we took so long. Greg got stuck on the way here said Matt. Ya. Big traffic jam agreed Greg. I guess its rush hour and everybodys heading home said Frankie sitting down next to Chris while Matt sat next to Jesse and Greg sat at the end in a chair. After the others ordered their drinks, everyone just talked to another. Frankie asked So, you guys said you were here all summer? Yep. My mom had a job to do so she brought my dad and me with us. Plus she got an extra ticket an I brought my friend, which is Morgan explained Rachel. Greg asked where are you from? Were from Florida replied Morgan taking a sip of her drink. Well, they certainly have a big menu here said Matt reading the 2nd page of the big menu. Ya I agree. I dont know what to get agreed Chris. "Well, you better hurry cause the waitress will probably be back any minute" said Rachel who already knew what she wanted. And she was right. About 9 minutes later the waitress came and took their order, and by that time they all knew what they wanted. Jesse asked trying to start a conversation "so do you guys know what were doing tomorrow"? "Well, we know 1 thing. Greg, Matt, and Frankie have had enough days off" said Chris teasingly. "Very funny" replied Greg. "Well, I'll tell ya something. You guys missed a lot of things" said Morgan smiling. "You got a point there. That's 1 reason I'm glad I didn't have today off" said Jesse laughing. "Me to" agreed Chris. When Matt, Frankie and Greg were wondering what they were talking about, Rachel explained. "Well, this morning, Morgan and Chris dared me and Jesse to dance to 'Hooked On You'. But I had to be in Matt's place". "And after that Rachel and I dared Chris and Morgan to sing to 'This Time' "added Jesse. "Well, I guess that is a bad thing that we got toady off" said Frankie laughing with the others. "And you danced in my place to 'Hooked On You' with Jesse? Now that must have been hard" commented Matt. "It was, but I got it strait" said Rachel thankfully. "Ya, She did a great job. And she really surprised me" added Jesse smiling at Rachel. Greg asked teasingly "so Chris, how was it like to sing with a girl"? Chris said "Very funny. Actually, I think we did pretty well, didn't we Morgan"? "Ya" agreed Morgan. "You guys finally did sing after World War 3 and World War 4" said Rachel smiling. "I think Chris and me had World War 5 in the parking lot" said Jesse laughing. "We certainly did. I just hope there isn't any more" said Morgan. "Me to" agreed Chris. Finally dinner came, and everyone was so busy eating they didn't have much time to talk. Soon diner was over, and Frankie asked are we gonna order desert? If anybody wants some, sure replied Chris looking at everyone. I guess I can have some ice cream replied Jesse. Me to agreed Rachel looking at the desert menu with Jesse. I want a milkshake said Morgan also studying the desert menu with Chris. I agree with you Morgan commented Chris. Matt asked hey Frankie, want to split a bag of donuts since there is so many? Frankie replied Sure. Hey Greg are you getting anything? Hmm... I think Ill just get some ice cream like Rachel and Jesse replied Greg putting his menu back. They ordered 3 bowls of Ice Cream for Greg, Jesse and Rachel, 2 milkshakes for Chris and Morgan and 1 bag of donuts for Matt and Frankie (there were like 16 in a bag). At 7:47 they all finally finished, and Chris offered to pay {I wont put the price...}. (But you know how that gets...) Lets just all pay our own price, and then it will be fair said Morgan trying to end this argument. Rachel agreed and said Ya, wouldnt that be much easier that sitting here all night arguing over whom should pay? Ya know, you have pretty smart girlfriends Jesse and Chris Matt said smiling. Rachel and Morgan blushed, but Jesse and Chris smiled but secretly, they were blushing. Well, I guess we better get going since we gotta go back to the studio tomorrow Greg. Ya, we better get home agreed Matt. Well, thanks for inviting us said Frankie walking out the door. Thanks for coming, said Morgan and Rachel at the same time. After a couple of minutes of talking with the guys, Matt, Greg, and Frankie finally left and Chris, Morgan, Jesse, and Rachel walked out to Chriss car. Jesse asked, sitting down next to Rachel in the back Well, this was an exiting evening, wasnt it? Ya. I had fun. You know, we should do this more often said Chris. I agree. It was nice having dinner with the most awesome band in the world commented Rachel smiling. Ya. I never would have expected it to be you guys. It was really fun, agreed Morgan also smiling at Chris. Thanks said Jesse and Chris at the same time also smiling. Oh, by the way girls, we are gonna drop you off at your hotel. Dont worry, I called and told your parents that we would said Chris. By the time they got to Morgans and Rachel hotel, it was 8:32. Well, I really enjoyed your company, said Jesse smiling. Ya me to. Thanks for coming said Chris also smiling. Well, we will have to give most of the credit to you. Youre the 1s who let us come and be around you, said Rachel. Jesse looked at Rachel and smiled thanks. But I really love you guys being with us and helping us around and stuff. Especially you, Rachel he added softly. Rachel blushed and smiled and said quietly thanks Jesse. I really enjoy being with you to. Even though I only met you a couple days ago, I feel as if Ive known you my whole life. Ya. You guys are awesome. Its been really fun being with you. Youre 1 of the bravest and funniest girls I met added Chris looking at Morgan. Its been a lot of fun meeting you Morgan. Thanks for coming and helping us Chris added softly. Morgan blushed and looked at Chris thanks Chris. I loved helping you to. Youre the sweetest boy I ever met, she added softly and also smiling. Well, we better get going, said Rachel, kissing Jesse on the cheek. Ya, we better get ready for tomorrow, agreed Morgan, also giving Chris a kiss on the cheek. Jesse got out and moved into the passenger seat beside Chris and smiled see you tomorrow! Chris waved and said Ya. See ya! Rachel and Morgan smiled and called at the same time Bye! About 10 minutes later, they finally reached their rooms and told Rachels parents all about what happened. Well girls, Im glad you happy and enjoying your summer said Rachels mom. Yes, and Im sure youre exited about going back added Rachels dad. The girls said goodnight and headed to their rooms. Well, we certainly had fun, didnt we Morgan? I enjoyed every minute of it, agreed Morgan lying on her bed. Well, 9:04. Guess we better get to sleep, said Morgan. Ya.
