This box does not have a stamp pad, please make sure to bring your own.
Whil you are at this park, you may want to check out Alchemists' Lizard Returns!  (see www.letterboxing.org for clues to this box)

Getting There:
From 1-70, or I-25 take C-470 to the SantaFe Exit.  Go North on Santa Fe to Mineral (about 2 miles).  Head West (Left) onto Mineral.  Go right at the first stop light.  Go past the RTD parking to the 1st real road (Carson Dr) and turn left.  This will lead you to the South Platte Nature Center.

Finding the Box:
You will be staring your adventure at the Welcome / Map sign at the front of the trail.  Walk down the sidewalk to where the sides walk forks.  At the fork, go left.  You will walk behind the Nature Center.  At the fork, stay to your right and head for the bridge in front of you.  Right before the bridge, there will be a dirt trail to your left.  Go through the posts and head down the trail.  The trail will take you under Mineral.  At the first fork in the trail you will go left (to the open area, not through the trees).  Up ahead you will see a wooden bridge to your right - go over it.  In front of you there is a lookout deck.  However, you will want to go to your left and not to the deck (come back though, you can see some wonderful wildlife from there).  You will pass a Wildlife Area sign on your right.  As you walk, you will see a bridge in front and to the right.  Before that bridge, there is a single tree on the left side of the trail.  Behind that tree you will see 3 sets of tree stumps.  They are almost all the way to the back fence.  The stump to the left is where you will find this box.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REHIDE THIS BOX BETTER THAN HOW YOU   FOUND IT.
