Kid Friendly: Yes, if your kids stay close and don't goof around (narrow trail with a steep dropoff on one side)
Dog Friendly: Yes, I belive so.
Time: It took us less than 30 minutes

Please note:  This is SNAKE and MOUNTAIN LION country.

Getting There:
You will need to locate
Jefferson County Open Space - Deer Creek Canyon.  Or, if you prefer a longer hike, you could start at Jefferson County Open Space - South Valley Park.  The clues however start from Deer Creek Canyon.

Finding the Box:
Head for the Rattlesnake Gulch trail.  Follow this down and around and up and down and around some more.  Soon you will look up and be able to see the shelter area that was near where the trail started.  As you round the corner you will see a few rocks on your left.  In the crevise of these rocks you will find the Rattlesnake.  Please make sure to recover him well.  We don't want him to jump out and bite some non-letterboxing person.
This box is RIGHT on the trail - so please make sure you are alone.
