| Successful hunting starts in the off- season when deer feel no pressure from hunters. Scout deer by finding heavily used trails, follow the trails to bedding areas, prepare food plots near bedding areas and near creeks or other source of water. It is a good idea to try to have all these in common with a location near oak trees as acorns will be a favorite food source for deer during the season. |
