He has lived in Wisconsin his entire life, born and raised outside Antigo, the second youngest of ten. Dave and his wife, Jean have made Pelican Lake their home for almost 30 years. They have five children and ten grandchildren ranging in ages from newborn to 17 years old. The newest addition, Wyatt, arrived the day before thier 42nd wedding anniversay.
Dave is an avid sportsmen and an excellent marrksmen. He has received numerous awards and trophies earning him the nickname, Deadeye Dave. He enjoys country, bluegrass, and classical music. Dave is also a veteran having served his country while in the U.S. Army with honor.
Dave has insurance but, like other self-employed men, it is not enough to withstand the financial burden of cancer. Mounting medical and living expenses are spiraling upward with no immediate relief in sight for these fine folks. They are receiving support from family and friends but it is not enough. It is imperative that we help Dave and Jean until Dave is able to return to work.
