          --------------=== TURBOFIX version 3.0d ===---------------

April 2003

Updated SMSQ/E recognition routine (v2.0 did not work because of the changes
in the last years of the version number of SMSQ/E)

Now Turbo works happily with Turbofix 3.0d. Thanks to George Gwilt
for the investigations. Also fixed nasy bug which cleared the byte at $28000.

Removed all the keywords (SET_PRIORIT, COMMAND_LINE, TYPE_IN) except

          BASIC_POINTER
          BASIC_B%
          BASIC_L
          BASIC_W%
          BASIC_NAME$
          BASIC_F
          BASIC_INDEX%
          BASIC_TYPE%

to allow Turbo compatibility.

          --------------=== TURBOFIX version 3.0 ===---------------

March 2003

Updated SMSQ/E recognition routine (v2.0 did not work because of the changes
in the last years of the version number of SMSQ/E)

Please note that loading the Turbofix3_bin will allow to run MasterBasic
from SMSQ/E SBASICs but Turbo parser_task will not run anymore.
The problem is being investigated by George Gwilt.

          --------------=== TURBOFIX version 2.0 ===---------------

A new version of TURBOFIX has been prepared. This allows to use
the following Turbo Toolkit keywords on Minerva MultiBasic or
SMSQ S-BASIC:

BASIC_POINTER / BASIC_B% / BASIC_W% / BASIC_F / BASIC_L / BASIC_NAME$

The previous version of Turbofix worked on Minerva but not on SMSQ.
This release is OK on both o/s.

I tested TURBOFIX2_BIN with JM SuperBasic, Minerva Multi-Basic and
SMSQ/E SBasic and seems working without problems. As no technical
documentation about SMSQ/E SBasic is available at the moment I can
not assure my modifications are 100% effective. Anyway it works
and that's sufficient for me :-) Any reports is highly welcomed.

The modifications on TURBOFIX2_BIN concern BASIC_POINTER, BASIC_F,
BASIC_L, BASIC_W%, BASIC_B% and  BASIC_NAME$  keywords.  They  now
work from interpreted SBasic too (not only from Turbo/QLiberated
compiled programs).

Turbo Toolkit has been originally written by Simon N Goodwin

TurboFix_ext (1st version 1254 bytes long) has been developed
          by Rich Mellor using Ergon's DEA v5.21 to extract
          the needed SuperBasic keywords from Turbo Toolkit).

TurboFix_ext (2nd version 1288 bytes long) 2nd version has been altered
          by Simon N Goodwin.

TurboFix2_bin (v2.0, 1338 bytes long) has been developed
          by Davide Santachiara reworking the latest TurboFix_ext
          assembly code (thanks again to DEA intelligent disassembler).

NOTE   March 2003

The latest Turbo Toolkit (amended by George Gwilt and others) has been
included in the package.

NOTE   26/09/99

A new Turbo Toolkit 3 has been completely rewritten and is included in
the package (turbo_tk_code version 3c27). I didn't tested it with MasterBasic
and Minerva or SMSQ/E Multibasic but I don't see any reason why
it shouldn't work properly. For sure TurboFix2_bin is OK.
