Chapter 4

Back to Nick's POV

I sat in the dark cell thinking about King Yukon's words. I heard noises from above as I looked up, I saw

 Brian hanging from the vent. I stood up as he lowered his hand down.

"Grab my hand and I'll pull you up" Brian said as I jumped and grabbed his hand. We started to get

 pulled up by the other guys that were pulling on the rope. I finally reached the vent opening and pulled

 myself up.

"You'll need these" Kevin said as he handed me a gun, bullets and a knife.

"Thanks" I said as I put the knife in the pocket in my pant leg and the gun and bullets in my jacket

 pocket.

"Do you know where they have Aaron?" Kevin asked me as we started to crawl in the vent quickly but

 quietly.

"He's in a room on the side of the palace, I'm not sure which one" I said as Kevin stopped.

"Shhh" He said as he put his ear against the vent and heard voices.

"But father how can you use an innocent kid to get just another warrior?" King Yukon's daughter Katrina

 asked as he looked at her sharply.

 "I can do whatever I want, I am the king am I not!" King Yukon yelled as he smacked Katrina and she

 fell to the ground. I felt the sheet of metal I was kneeling on start to make noises and fall from under

 me. I landed on the floor on my back next to where Katrina was.

 "Guards!" King Yukon yelled as I scrambled to my feet.  "Arrest this prisoner"! He yelled as I ran out

 into the hall, King Yukon hot on my trail. I stopped abruptly as I saw the royal guards come running up

 the way I was heading. I took the gun out of my jacket pocket and loaded the bullets in quickly. I made

 sure my aim was good and pulled the trigger of the gun towards the royals, shooting one of them. I kept

 on pulling the trigger rapidly, hitting the royals while they were running towards me. I went into my

pocket for more bullets but found none. I dropped the gun and opened the pocket on my pant leg. I took

 the knife out and threw it at the last guard to be standing, hitting him right in the chest. The guys ran

 over to me as I noticed King Yukon had disappeared.

"Aaron!" I yelled as I ran to the docking center, where the guard had took me from before. I ran to the doors as I looked through the small glass window where I saw Yukon holding onto Aaron dragging him onto a ship. I tried opening the door but found it was locked. I kicked it opened and it flew open. Yukon spotted me running towards them as he closed the door closed just as I was about to reach them. The spacecraft lifted into the air, throwing me down on the ground from the power and energy of it.

"AARON!!!" I screamed as the spacecraft flew away before my eyes. Tears stung the back of my eyes

 as the guys caught up me.

"We need to get to the spacecraft, well be able to locate where there going from there." Kevin said as

 we all ran to the spacecraft. I went to the cockpit with Kevin, he pressed a few buttons and a map

 showed on the screen with a little dot representing the spacecraft Yukon and Aaron was on.

"there heading towards another planet far from here , Yukon's using Aaron to lure us away from the

 other royals" Kevin said as I looked at him.

"But were still going after them right?" I asked as Kevin nodded his head. He pressed a few more

 buttons.

"Sit down Nick" He said as I felt the spacecraft elevate pushing me down into the seat before I had a

 chance to sit. The spacecraft flew forward as it went into hyper drive and flew quickly towards the

 planet aaron would be held captive on.
