“Hi, I’m Cindy Baker,
welcome back to channel 9 news tonight. We’re here live at Trixton Street
highway here in Los Angeles, CA at the scene of a recent accident involving
Emily Carter. Former wife of Nick Carter, member of the Backstreet Boys. Behind
me here is the tragic scene of what happened earlier. Police say’s Carter’s
wife was on the way home from work and due to the ragging force of rain,
Carter’s wife car got out of control and went straight for the cliff near the
highway. With not enough force of the ramp to hold the car up, it broke and
Carter’s wife and the car went head first down the cliff here on Trixton Street
highway. Minutes later, Police are able to pulled the shattered Lexus out of
the water from the bottom of the cliff, but no sign of his wife. Carter still
refuse to give up hope on searching for his wife. Reason is to the fact Carter
stated that he will not give up hope on finding her because she is carrying
their first unborn child and Carter quote, ‘I will not rest till I have Emily in
