Prologue
“I can’t find
it anywhere!” Brian yelled from his room to downstairs to Lieghanne.
“You better hurry
or give up! You have that interview in less then an hour.” Lieghanne replied.
“What is it you’re looking for?”
“A number
that’s written on a sheet of paper. It’s for Howie.”
“Oh, okay.
Just hurry!”
“I’m trying!” Brian
hollered exasperated. He fumbled through his cluttered drawer, still couldn’t
find it. But he knew it was there. As he continued to look, a corner of a piece
of paper caught his eyes. “I found you! Wait! What is this?”
It an old
picture he hadn’t seen in years.

“Brian! No!
Stop! That’s cold!” Anne screamed as another huge amount of water soaked her.
“Is it really
that cold?” Brian teased as he wrapped her is his arms.
“Yes,” She
whined snuggling against him for the warmth.
“I’m sorry,
baby.”
“It’s okay.
Just don’t do it again.” She smiled, then shoved Brian with all her might. He
landed, sprawled out in the lake shallows. “That’s what you get mister. You
better learn to never mess with me!” Anna laughed.
“Really now?”
Brian smiled as he ran after Anna’s retreating figure. Quickly he caught her
and held he tight. She struggled with all her strength to escape. Brian turned
her to face him. “Anna! Calm down!”
“Why?” Anna
demanded. Brian just kissed her once and she soon quieted down. “What was that
for?”
“Did you not
like it?”
“Well,
yeah..but..”she started then Brian kissed her again.

“Those where
the days.” Brian muttered to himself as he came back from the past. “The before
Backstreet days as a normal high schooler. Boy, do things change.”
“Brian, lets
go!” Lieghanne yelled as she cam into Brian’s room. Brian shoved the picture
into his drawer, as far as he could get it. Hopefully Liegh hadn’t noticed.
“Are you ready?”
“Yeah,” Brian
sighed. He grabbed Lieghanne’s hand as they started towards the front door.
Though time is gone
And night have passes
I haven’t forgotten what we had
I never will and hope,
the same for you.
I may have miles between us,
And be separate in body
But never in heart.
Many sleepless nights.
