Prologue

This couldnt be happening; he couldnt be leaving her. Not after everything they had been through so far. Why was this happening, havent they been through enough? Was this just god's way of being punished even more? She watched as they rolled her husband down the dark hall. Would that be the last time she see him? Blood running down the sides of his face and him lying still. Not, the happy man she had been in love with for so many years. She hadnt even felt her sister Jocelyn pull her into an embrace as she watched his figure disapear from her eyes. She felt the tears cascade down her face as she thought about what there future could hold.

" Lyssa calm down" Her sister whispered as she rubbed her back.

" How do you expect me to calm down when my husband might be dead?!" Lyssa said as she started to cry harder.

" You know Aaron wouldnt leave you, hes a fighter and he would never leave you" Jocelyn said hugging Lyssa tighter.

" Just make everything be ok Jocy please" Lyssa whispered as Jocelyn felt tears come to her eyes.

" I wish i could Lys" Jocelyn said as Lyssa looked down the hallway the paramedics took Aaron down. Why couldnt they just live in peace now, they've been through so much.

*Flash Back*

 

Lyssa's Pov

I knocked on the hotel door and was greeted with a shock face. I felt a pair of arms pull me into a embrace and i smiled.

" Lyssa what are doing here? I thought you had a photo shoot in L.A.?" Leslie asked as she allowed me to walk into her hotel suite and i sat down.

" I did but i canceled it. I missed Aaron too much. He's not around is he?" I asked as Leslie shook her. I smiled to myself. Great. My surprise was going to work if he didnt see me around.

" Why? Do you have a plan up your sleve?" Leslie asked as I nodded and she smiled.

" you better give me the 411 now!" She said as I laughed and she sat down next to me. I explained to her my plan and she agreed to go along with it.

*Later at the concert*

Leslie and I snuck into the front row of the concert arena where Aaron would be playing that night. I started to imagine the reaction on his face as the lights went off. There were 3 fire works shot off before he actually came out on stage. Of Course i wouldnt know that since ive never seen that concert tour before. He slowly made his way over to the side Leslie and i were sitting in and i started to grin. He looked into the section we were sitting in and stopped singing for a second as he noticed me. He smiled as he remembered that he was in the middle of the concert and continued on. He leaned over and grabbed my hand as the girl next to me gave a scream of delite because Aaron was so close to her. I laughed a little as he pulled away and went on with his concert. Numerous times he came over to my side and grabbed my hand and sung his love ballads to me and numerous times i gave him a smile and a small peck on the cheek. As he came to one of his new songs he looked out into the crowd and then to me. His eyes searching deep within my own revealing all the love we had.

" Tonight I wanna make a very special dedication. This dedication is going out to the love of my life. I wrote it when we were going through a very rough time, when i didnt have the courage to go back and tell her that i wanted to hold her in my arms. This ones for you babe" He said as i felt tears sting the back of my eyes. He sat down at the piano that had risen from the stage. I felt my stomach tighten as he began to sing the first lines...

*End Of Flash Back*

Lyssa shook her head as she came back to reality to see a woman in a white coat standing in front of her. If only she could back to that day in her flash back then she wouldnt have to worry about this until later.

" Are you all with Mr. Carter?" The doctor asked the group that surrounded her in the waiting room as they all nodded there heads.

" How is he?" Lyssa asked as her eyes started to tear preparing for the worst. What if this would be the last night he lived? How would she go on without him?

" Right now Mr. Carter is..." The doctor started as a nurse ran towards them.

" Dr. Martin Mr. Carter is crashing we think its from the lost of blood" The nurse said as Lyssa felt her heart stop. This couldnt be happening she wasnt going to loose him not after everything they've been through. She watched as Dr. Martin and the nurse ran to his room and ran after them. She was gonna be there for him no matter she didnt care what the doctors said. Lyssa stopped at the room and watched as they got the paddles ready to shock him. She felt her head start to spin and clutched her stomach, falling to the ground and blacking out.
